Letitia is sleeping in the corner so I wake her up by shaking her shoulder. "What?" she asks, yawning.
"Come with us," I say.
"No."
"Come on, Letitia."
"That's fine," says Parallax. "leave her be."
If he says so, then alright. I follow him upstairs while Nisha follows behind me. The man on the helm is different this time and it's an Angelus woman. She's a bit more friendly than the last one as she nods to us. We nod back as we pass by.
Earlier, I saw the Captain returning to his quarters—which are directly below us, so I'm quite relieved that he's not here.
"So, what do you want?" I ask.
"Take a look," he says, gesturing to something that is in the skeay below and at the back of the ship.
This is sus. He must be planning to push us overboard while the Captain is resting and then make up a lie to cover it.
