I'm back to my usual chore on the ship and that is removing starnacles from the ship's hull. I just wish that I don't have to keep my knife glowing with Angelus light so I could see and remove them. It's tiring me so much. Not to mention they're hard to remove because of how strong they anchor on the hull.
"Want me to help?" Nisha offers as she's watching me from above.
*Gulp*
Her chest is getting squeezed as her elbows are on the handrail. It's quite a sight but "No," I say. "I'm fine. And don't lean forward like that."
"Why?" she asks, completely oblivious.
"Your cleavage," I whisper.
"Oh!"
She stands straight, looking around the dock if anyone saw that. Thank goodness it's already dark and there are only a few people on the dock walking around.
"You've been there for hours," she says. "Take a rest."
"Later. I can't sleep knowing that there are starnacles left on the hull of this ship."
"They'll just grow back, you know."
