Ash, "Lucario, take the North side."
Lucario, -On it Meema.-
Ash, "Pikachu, the West side."
Pikachu, "Pika."
Ash, "Trevenant, the targets are heading in your direction. Is the trap ready?"
Trevenant, "Nant."
Ash, "Good. Do not let them escape."
Over the last few months, Ash, Raai'kiel and the Pokemon had gone around hunting for beasts that could be eaten by humans and Pokemon alike. Despite the Elders skeptical attitude about other humans being interested in joining them, none had tried to stop them. In fact, most Elders were secretly hoping members of both Ketchum and Oak clans would agree to join them or at least agree to an agreeable relationship. They are not expecting them to join the clan nor to accept them with open arms, especially not after how they had up and kidnapped two of their cubs. But the Elders were hoping they would at least be able to have an agreeable relationship with them.
Ash heard an alarm, "Raai'kiel what is happening?"
Raai'kiel, :We have incoming.:
Ash, "Friendly or unfriendly?"
Raai'kiel, :Unknown at the moment.:
Ash, "Should I join you?"
Raai'kiel, "That would be best."
Ash, "See you in a few minutes."
Lucario, -Unknown situation?-
Ash, "Yes, I wonder what is happening there."
Pikachu, "Pika pi pikachu."
Ash, "Yagouti, what brings you here?"
Yagouti, "Nrak'ytara, I was ordered to guard you on the way to the meeting point."
Ash, "Very well. Safer in numbers."
Yagouti, "I wish to thank you."
Ash, "What for?"
Yagouti, "For agreeing to train my clutch and I despite your own busy schedules."
Ash chuckled, "I am a trainer or a Nark'ytara as we are called on this planet. It is what I love to do."
Yagouti, "Still I was able to advance faster in my training compared to the rest of the group thanks to you. I wish to thank you by offering the spices my family grows in our farm lands."
Ash, "You do not have to. As long as you perform your duties and responsibilities well I am satisfied."
Yagouti, "This is my decision and actions alone so please allow me Nrak'ytara to do this."
Ash looked at the stubborn young female then sighed agreeing, "Very well since you will not budge on the subject."
The young warrior nodded satisfied when Ash agreed to her request and messaged her clutch about it. Unlike Yautja Nrak'ytara human Nrak'ytara did not expect returns from raising and training their young ones except for the young to perform well. That had caused quiet the conundrum for them, as most of the time there was some sort of gift to show gratitude to the Nrak'ytara but Ash never once said what he wanted. Now, however there was an agreement and they decided to give Ash some of their crops as tribute as he was someone who enjoyed good food. Yagouti hummed, her Nrak'ytara sure was different from the rest but then again he was not Yautja so it was expected.
She remembers the first time she and the others offered something to Ash only for the human to tell them point blank he did not require anything from them. The only thing he wanted was for them to return safely and alive from their official hunt to become full fledged warriors. It had made them feel warm to know he wanted his cubs to return to him alive, but it still did not solve the issue for them. Even if Nrak'ytara Ash was simply happy to have them return alive and safe, it did not mean the others were happy by the fact they gifted Ash nothing. By others she mean Raai'kiel and his clan who over the months had become very protective over Ash after seeing the results.
So, to make everyone happy Yagouti had come up with the plan to help Ash with the feast he was preparing and it had actually worked. Ash had accepted the gifts they would provide him, though it took a little planning and deceiving, it would make the rest happy. Yagouti bowed to Ash after they reached their destination and left for her post while Ash went in search of Raai'kiel. His husband or mate as they are called on this planet was talking to one of the clan Elders who nodded at him as he approached them and left Raai'kiel. Raai'kiel hugged Ash nuzzling him and holding him close giving a sigh while Ash pat his back.
Ash, "Tell me what you need."
Raai'kiel, "I need people to stop trying to take me away from you. We rarely got a night to each other."
Ash chuckled, "You know why. It is migration season. I was not expecting alien races to migrate like Pokemon and yet here we are."
Raai'kiel, "Indeed, unfortunately it also means that ships we know nothing about try to enter our space too."
Ash hummed, "That is true. I would like to go on board with Trevenant if there is no answer from their side."
Raai'kiel, "I see. I will consider it."
Ash, "Gary is here. I will go talk to him about this so he does not freak out."
Raai'kiel chuckles, "He really cares about you, doesn't he?"
Ash mumbled, "He treats me like a child though I am an adult."
Raai'kiel was amused as Ash left to talk to Gary who was with Urrr'kiel, "Elder Too'kiet, what do you think about his proposition?"
Elder Too'kiet, "I am curious as to how he will deal with this."
Raai'kiel, "So you approve?"
Elder Too'kiet, "Yes, go ahead."
Raai'kiel informed Ash about the agreement and Ash physically beamed at him making Raai'kiel wonder if he was seeing things or if humans were capable of ignition. Raai'kiel decided to keep those thoughts to himself though, because despite all of his quirks and strangeness Ash was a kind being. There were times when Raai'kiel stayed up and wondered if he was dreaming or stuck in an illusion instead. He had also been forced to deal with challenges from others who were also interested in Ash as a mate now, after his initiation was over. It was honestly annoying but Ash made it clear to everyone he was willing to train them but not interested in taking another mate. Turns out humans were monogamous a only took one mate, not bothering to take another after the mate died.
Ash, "It is time. Ready?"
Trevenant nodded, "Trev."
Elder Saar'kiet, "They are moving in alone?"
Raai'kiel, "Trevenant is a being who has connections with the dead. It would be safer and smarter to allow them to check first."
Too'kiet, "What does that mean?"
Raai'kiel, "Trevenant will be trying to contact anyone who died in the ship to find out what is really happening. The dead have no reason to lie, they are already dead."
Saar'kiet, "That is both a terrifying and comforting ability. How did your little mate earn the loyalty of such a being?"
Raai'kiel, "He actually raised Treve from young Elder."
Too'kiet, "I see. That is convenient indeed, pity we cannot step foot into your little mate's world that easily. I am sure many would have loved to have such a partner during missions outside of hunts."
Raai'kiel nodded and turned his attention to his squadrant who were ready to move in the moment they got the signal. Trevenant, Lucario, Pikachu and Ash were waiting at the docking area with personalized armor that would protect them and be easy to move around in. The guards who were working at the dock opened the door to the ship warning them to be careful and return safely. Raai'kiel held back a very amused rumble at that, his mate could take care of himself just fine but it seems his bright attitude had gained positive effects on everyone even the stoic guards. Normally, those guards never truly cared if a warrior returned alive or not, but it seems Ash and Gary were an exception.
Ash looked around the ship, "Hmm."
Trevenant ran a leaf across the wall, "Tre trev trevenant."
Lucario, -Indeed, too much dust. Meema.-
Ash, "No one has been using this ship for a while, does it mean it is abandoned?"
Pikachu murmured, "Pikapi."
Trevenant shrugged, "Tre trevenant."
Ash, "Pity, despite the dirt that has gathered this ship us obviously a magnificent one."
Lucario, -I do wonder if it is truly abandoned.-
Pikachu agreed, "Pika."
Trevenant nodded, "Nant."
Ash, "Okay, let's get to work shall we? Use your ghost aura to check for any dead auras and question them."
Trevenant nodded and he started to release his cool ghost type aura to attract the dead ones in the ship. They were being watched through the cameras in the ship that the Yautja had connected to earlier. The four of them moved to what looked like the main lobby as Trevenant found one soul and Ash used aura on his eyes to see. It was an alien, male according to the aura that was watching them curiously and talking to Trevenant who was explaining why they were there. Lucario and Pikachu were watching the interaction while keeping an eye out for whatever killed the crew in the first place.
All of them had noticed the closed cabinets with stored food in them, no way the crew had died of starvation. The whole thing was very suspicious and despite the wandering soul being an alien, Ash was pretty sure the wound on his chest was a stab wound. It was way too blatant to be anything else and Ash was eyeing the soul with trepedition wondering what exactly happened. While Trevenant was guiding the soul and trying to help them move on, they learned something interesting, the killer was still alive and on board the ship. It was a very old Xenomorph egg from the past that had adjusted and evolved to survive in the cold space which interested them.
Ash, "Raai'kiel, come in."
Raai'kiel, :Hearing you loud and clear.:
Ash, "They found a cluster of Xenomorph eggs and brought it abroad. Most of them according to this soul was dead."
Raai'kiel, :Some were alive.:
Ash, "Only one was alive and that one was experimented on and cared for by the three scientists abroad."
Raai'kiel was quiet for a while, :Are you talking to the scientist right now?:
Ash, "No, this soul belonged to one of the soldiers who was in charge of protecting the ship."
Raai'kiel, :I see, why is he around?:
Ash, "He feels guilty along with the other souls who are stuck here. They are all guards too, by the way."
Raai'kiel, :I suppose Trevenant is helping them move on.:
Ash, "Trying to help them move on. Their guilt is so great they basically chained themselves to this ship. And I mean that in a literal sense."
Ooo'kiet, :Young one, be careful.:
Ash, "Yes Elder, do not worry we will stay safe. From what the lost soul has said the Xenomorph is in hibernation at the moment."
Raai'kiel, :Should I come over?:
Ash, "If you want. We want to talk to these souls a bit more. So, we might take some time but as long as no one is dumb enough to awaken the Xenomorph it is fine. I am not going to place respect nor will I allow anyone to place any respect on a fool who has no regards or respect for the dead."
Ooo'kiet, :We heard you loud and clear.:
High Mother hummed, 'Fascinating child.'
Ooo'kiet, "Something in your mind respected mother?"
High Mother, "That child has many talents and you mentioned he is not against teaching other cubs."
Raai'kiel nodded, "Indeed High Mother, my mate is a staunch believer in, children are the future of any civilization. Without any children a civilization is as good as dead."
High Mother, "That is a very good point and belief. Does everyone in their planet think this way?"
Raai'kiel, "Yes, they have their own share of War on their planet. From what we have observed those Wars can be very devastating and a threat to their future as the first target is always the cubs."
High Mother, "How malicious! They believe children are the future and yet go for the cubs who belong to others."
Errr'kiel, "I believe the three of us have seen exactly how cruel humans can be, especially to each other."
Ash was now in the control room, 'This place is quiet large.'
Pikachu, "Pika."
Ash, "Run a bit of electricity through it but do not activate anything."
Pikachu nodded and his cheeks sparked inside his suit as the little mouse sent electricity to the outlets on the suit for his electric moves. Creating a suit for their Pokemon had been quiet the challenge but Gary had proven himself to be just as smart as his grandfather. Pikachu chirped as the machines hummed and the lights came on illuminating the whole ship in a low glow allowing everyone to see the insides of the ship. Ash checked the security cam and found the culprit sleeping peacefully in forced hibernation. Trevenant then turned to the soul asking him what he wanted to do with the creature that killed him and his crew mates.
Trevenant, "Tre trevenant nant."
Lucario, -As expected. They want her and her clutch dead.-
Pikachu, "Pika."
Ash, "Who am I to say no to a demand from the dead. One dead Xenomorph coming.... What in sanity's name?"
Lucario, -Are those young Yautja doing?-
Ash, "Speaker now."
Lucario, -Here!-
Ash, :What do you brats think you are doing there?:
One of the Yautja winced, :Ah! Nrak'ytara Ash, we just wanted to prove ourselves capable.:
Ash, :Training level increased twice in difficulty.:
Another Yautja, :That is not fair.:
Ash, :Oh you want a more difficult level? I see, I see, you should have said so. The training level will be four times the difficulty since you find it so boring that you sneak in unauthorized into an unsanitized ship. Also Gary will be scrubbing each and everyone of you clean.:
A female Yautja looked really embarrassed by the scolding, :We are sorry Nrak'ytara, we wanted to make you proud.:
Ash, :You utterly disappointed me. Not only did you fail to listen to warnings you failed to wear a proper suit. If you do not return and get sanitized under ten minutes I will personally go down and drag you all across the city to train like toddler cubs.:
Raai'kiel snorted watching the three hot headed cubs wince and scramble to get out and search out Gary. Gary was waiting for them outside with a very amused look on his face as he ushered them into one of his own specialized sanitizer showers. They could hear the shrieks and shouts coming from the cubs inside the shower because of the really cold and thorough wash. Gary knew Yautja hated the cold, so he had added the cold shower feature as a punishment for the shirt tempered brats. When Gary had mentioned it to Urrr'kiel the warrior had stared at him blankly at first then started to shake trying not to laugh.
Ash, :Report to training ground X5Tβ after the sanitization is over.:
Lucario chuckled, -Cubs! No matter the world they are the same.-
Pikachu cooed, "Chaaaaa."
Ash huffed amused, "Now, where were we?"
Trevenant, "Nant."
Ash, "Right! The sleeping Xenomorph who is no longer sleeping. Oh dear!"
Lucario, -Should we deal with her?-
Ash, "Might have to, she is basically heading this way after all."
Raai'kiel, :Ash?:
Ash sighed, "We may have got the most cubs out but they were not quiet about it and they woke up the Mother Xenomorph."
Raai'kiel, :We are ready to move in to help you whenever you need us.:
Ash, "I want to tackle her ourselves. I am activating the stabilizers of the ship and activating the cleaning systems. Trevenant will be dealing with the lost souls. I think he wants a little one of his own."
Raai'kiel, :You will have to explain that later on, my Nrak'ytara. Be careful.:
Ash, "Always, my love. Okay, the ship is stabilized we can breath and move around safely."
Pikachu took off his helmet, "Pika chaaaaa."
Lucario, -I agree, it is much better without the armour. Don't get me wrong I appreciate the protective gestures but armor over fur is just uncomfortable.-
Ash, "I understand. Get ready, she is coming this way."
The mother Xenomorph was sniffing the air and she was sure there were very ripe and healthy, perfect to be hosts for her many larvae to grow. She stalked through the hallways with bright fluorescent lights making it look like a bright day and used her nodtr to find the host. The new smells were very curious ones, she could not place a claw on it but there was something about it that felt familiar and yet strange but it also smelt rush in nutrition. The Xenomorph mother decided to not think too much about it and deal with it once she finds them and lays her eggs.
Ash stood in the open hallway, "Ready? Lucario, Pikachu?"
Pikachu, "Pika!"
Lucario, -You don't even have to ask.-
The Xenomorph appeared growling lowly as she sniffed the air and then attacked while Ash, Lucario and Pikachu moved away from the attacking tail. Lucario shot a shadow ball at the tail cutting it off which was followed by an iron tail from Pikachu making the large alien screech in pain. Ash cooed at her and the Xenomorph made a pained and angry screech feeling like this host creature was making fun of her. When she got her claws pm them she would make it very painful for them as she put her eggs inside them, but for some reason she felt dread inside her guts.
Lucario, -It is a pity we are inside a ship.-
Pikachu, "Kachu?"
Lucario, -I wanted to create a meteor shower but that would mean destroying this ship.-
Ash, "And we promised Gary he could have this ship in one piece."
Ooo'kiet who was watching spoke faintly, "When did he learn to manipulate meteors?"
Raai'kiel, "My mate told me he was originally training his cubs to become God like so they probably have been learning for a while."
High Mother, "Why am I learning about this now?"
Raai'kiel hummed amused by the reaction of the Elders, "Because the chances of such training becoming successful is actually one in a million. There is no guarantee it will be a success in fact I do not think Lucario has reached it yet."
High Mother took a deep breath and then released it through annoyed clicks, "Very well I will not question this madness you are talking about. I will pretend I heard nothing."
Too'kiet, "I think I recall having to face a God while we were leaving Pokearth. Rayquaza they were called."
Raai'kiel, "Their Guardian God, yes. He was very powerful and not amused by us."
Too'kiet, "And he plans to make his cubs just as powerful through training? Or does he plan to use genetic modification for it?"
Raai'kiel, "Pure training. According to my mate, anything that can be genetically modified can be reversed engineered and eliminated. So, he prefers the long way of training which is more permanent and not easily eliminated."
High Mother, "I approve his thought process though I have noticed he is not against advanced science when it comes to relaxation and healing."
Raai'kiel was very amused by their interest, he had told them his mate was different, "My mate believes everything exists for a reason it is up to us to be smart about their uses."
Ash, "Lucario flank her in. Pikachu prepare your strongest combination ekectric terrain with electro web."
Pikachu grinned activating a terrain under the Xenomorph paralysing hee, "Pika!"
Lucario was grinning with his hands gleaming with aura in the shape of two swords, -With pleasure Meema.-
Ash, "We are going to bring her down."
The mother Xenomorph screeched in ear deafening pain as she was attacked with electricity, aura and swords. The electric attack burned through her skin sending waves of pain through her body while the aura based sword cut her mandibles and limbs off. Finally Ash used the sword Raai'kiel had gifted him to cut off her head putting an end to her. Trevenant then appeared with a very young Phantump in his hands and approached them. The young Pokemon stared at the beast that had terrorized her and her crew when they had been alive. Most of her crew mates chose to move on after realizing the monster that killed them was now dead except her, she wanted to live longer.
Ash, "Hello little one. Welcome to the family."
Lucario, -She looks like a shiny but the colour of her leaves are orange instead of the standard shiny.-
Pikachu cooed, "Pika chaaaaaa."
Trevenant, "Trev, treven treven trev."
Phantump looked at them curiously, "Phaa phan."
Raai'kiel appeared, "Ash."
Ash, "Raai'kiel, let me introduce you. This is Phantump a new member of the pack."
Raai'kiel, "Your new member put everyone into a tizzy."
Ash, "Oh? What happened?"
Raai'kiel explained then that while most Yautja believed in the strength of the spirit, none of them actually dealt with an actual spirit before. That is till Trevenant came along and acted as the living proof of spirits and souls existing in real life. A lot of the scientist were pulling their tentacles and mandibles at the existence of Trevenant but no one dares to approach out of worry they would offend the dead. Trevenant listened to the explanations then huffed at him, there was nothing contradictory about his existence he is what he is. Besides if he was not there then who would help the foolish souls who had been hanging like lost saplings around the ship.
Ash, "Either way, we promised Gary he could have this ship. Is there going to be a problem?"
Raai'kiel, "That part is of no consequence at least not compared to."
Phantump tilted his head, "Phaaa?"
Raai'kiel, "Admittedly she is a very adorable addition and will make a wonderful older sister to our own."
Ash beamed, "Right? Now come on, we still have to clean out the rest of the ship."
Raai'kiel, "That's what cleaners are for."
Ash "So what, we can always help."
Raai'kiel, "Of course."
