Luocheng Town

"Immortal!!!". Hailed most of the servants who were at the scene.

"Immortal!!!". Echoed the others as they kneeled and kowtow to Wei Hen.

They have never seen a phenomenon like this in their entire lives before. This is the first time for them. They are so lucky to witness this event. This means they are serving an immortal for their entire lives. They are truly blessed!!! Their master is immortal!!!

Some of them are crying. They felt overwhelmed and thrilled.

Wei Hen's eyelids trembled before he slowly opened his beautiful phoenix eyes when he heard bustling noise in the distance.

He felt the view in front of him unfamiliar the moment he opened his eyes. He then slowly sat on the bed and examined the room he was in. Based on what he saw, this place should be an inn. And this room he was in right now should be on the second floor when he saw the view through the window.

He then remove the quilt on top of him and climbed down the bed, walking toward the window.

"It should be around afternoon right now". He murmured to himself in a raspy voice. His throat was quite dry maybe because he didn't drink some water for a long time.

As he was in a daze enjoying the view of pedestrians bustling about on the street, the door of his room was opened, and a tall figure walked in. The tall figure's movement halted for a moment when he saw the person standing elegantly by the window while that person looking outside the window. The tall figure then continue to walk toward the bed and placed the things he bought on the bed before calling out to the person who was standing by the window.

"Young Master Wei Hen, You've waked up".

The person didn't flinch or surprise as he turned his body and glance at the tall figure as if he knows the tall figure was there, to begin with.

Wei Hen saw Shi Lei's tired face and felt pity for him. Shi Lei must be anxious about him because of what happened that day. The celestial phenomenon that was caused by him. But Shi Lei was surprisingly calm when he saw him wake up from his comatose state. He must already collected himself these past few days.

Wei Hen hummed before replying softly "Just wake up, you've worked hard".

"It's my pleasure to serve you". Replied Shi Lei as he reached for the cloth bag and unwrapped it and arrange the content within it, on the table near the bed. His master must be hungry after a few days of not eating anything.

"Young Master Wei Hen, eat first". Shi Lei said. He was concerned about Wei Hen's stomach.

While he pondered his master well being, Wei Hen walked to the table and sit on one of the stools near the table.

When he looks at the food in wooden bowls arranged on the table, he saw white porridge with minced meat and shredded vegetables in it. The porridge is still oozing. There is also a big steam-stuffed bun and a bowl of medicinal soup.

At a glance, you already know the food is for a patient. Wei Hen didn't think much because Shi Lei must be concerned with his stomach which had been empty for who knows how long has it been. Thinking about this, Wei Hen then look at Shi Lei and asked "How long have I been unconscious?".

"It's been two days". Replied Shi Lei.

It's one day less than the day he was first struck by lightning.

Then Wei Hen started to eat his meal.

Shi Lei stare at him while he eating.

Sensing his gaze Wei Hen felt uncomfortable and returned his gaze. Their eyes met each other. As a result, Shi Lei was stunned and turned his face to the left.

"What's wrong? Is there something on my face?". Wei Hen asks as he touches his face.

"N-nothing". Shi Lei stuttered while trying to calm himself down to not to be nervous.

Seeing Shi Lei being weird, his brain unconsciously recalls all Shi Lei's peculiar behaviors all this time.

Did he like me?

"Do you like me?". This question thrown by Wei Hen toward him makes him flinch a bit. His movement was not much but it was obvious in Wei Hen's eyes.

Wei Hen knows that he didn't have to probe into him any further because he already got the answer from this small movement of his(Shi Lei) alone.

"Y-Young Master Wei Hen I can expla-...".

"Say no more".

Shi Lei tried to explain himself when he felt that he was already being caught but Wei Hen interrupted him before he could say more words.

"I didn't forbid your feelings towards me but don't aspect me to return your feelings because it's my principle to not have a relationship with my subordinates".

It will bring too many cons than pros if you have any intimate relationship with your underlings and he has no feelings toward Shi Lei either. Furthermore, for the time being, he likes to be 'single'. Wei Hen must be decisive in this matter so as not

Shi Lei want to try to explain again but Wei Hen stopped him and ask him to return to his room and rest.

"You should get enough rest".

Seeing there is no room to explain himself, Shi Lei reluctantly walk towards the door about to exit the room.

"Wait"

But before he could, Wei Hen stopped him and ask him to tell him about what happened after his 'Celestial' phenomenon and their current location and situation.

After he(Shi Lei) elaborates on the information that Wei Hen inquired about, Shi Lei gave Wei Hen his purse, then Wei Hen thanks and dismissed him. Wei Hen also didn't forget to remind him to remind others to not talk about the incident that happen to him two days ago. In return, Shi Lei reassure him that he had already been reminded and warned the rest to shut their mouth on the day it happened.

From the information he got from Shi Lei, after the incident, Shi Lei and Zhi Peng had to change their original plan and decided to go to the nearest town. That is the Luocheng Town. They planned to recuperate and stay there until their Young Master Wei Hen was conscious and ready enough to continue their journey. After they arrive at Luocheng Town they settled down the servant in the cheaper inn. As for Wei Hen, he is an exception because he is their master. So Shi Lei arrange him in the higher quality inn.

When Wei Hen saw the scenery outside through the window earlier, he was excited to go out and wandered about around the street. After staying for a long time on the bed, now he wants to stretch out his sore limbs.

Then, he when out of his room and strode toward the counter downstairs. He requests a big wooden tub of water to place in his room. Done conversing with the blushing male receptionist, he walks back to his room after paying a fee for the service.

He felt sticky and not feeling fresh as he not have been bathed for a few days.

Not long after he entered his room, the inn's two service boys brought the big wooden tub. They knock on the door of Wei Hen's room to inform Wei Hen and asked for Wei Hen's permission. After they got Wei Hen's consent, they carried the wooden tub into the room.

Upon entering the room, they were stunned. They can't believe their eyes! How can the person in front of them be so ravishing? They also forgot how heavy the wooden tub that they carried in their hands was. Thus, they were standing there like a statue stupidly until they heard a heart-tickling chuckle from the beautiful person(The culprit) in front of them. Only then the two of them recovered from their trance and their face blushed.

"What? Did I steal your hearts?". Asked Wei Hen teasingly while smiling seductively at the two of them as he combs a portion of his stray hair to the back of his head.

As a result, they were stunned for a moment before hurriedly carrying the wooden tub to the room and putting it in the empty space in the room.

Their cheeks and ears are so obviously red.

Seeing them flustered like this, Wei Hen couldn't help but laugh until his eyes were teary while the two of the 'ripe tomato' service boys carried the bucket of water out of the room repeatedly a couple of times to fill in the wooden tub.

Hmmm...It's so nice to tease the men sometime. Thought Wei Hen as he wipe the tears from his eyes with one hand while the other hand rub his stomach which was ach from laughing just now.

After the two of them(Service Boy) finished filling the wooden tub half to the brim, Wei Hen gave the tips to the two of them.

After the two of them came out of the room, this time it was Zhi Peng who coincidently pass by the two of the still-blushing man before entering Wei Hen's room.

"What a coincidence! You are here!". Wei Hen said happily. He was just about to go to Zhi Peng's room to ask him to bring him the handmade bar soap, toothbrush, and toothpaste. He felt uncomfortable after not brushing his teeth for a few days.

"Young Master Wei Hen you're awake. I'm sorry for not seeing you're beautiful immortal face as soon as I knew you were awake". Zhi Peng said with his sweet mouth of his. He also added that he and Zhinu were busily arranging the servant's meals and their necessities until Shi Lei come to them, and inform them of his master's awakened news. So he left the remaining works to the pitiful Zhinu alone, hastily finished the crucial jobs, and give some instructions to Zhinu and a few other servants before striding towards his master's location.

He can't wait to see his 'Immortal' master. Now, not only he, but all the servants that followed their young master on this had all their devotion and loyalty toward their master raising to a certain higher level after they witness the celestial event that day.

"Rest assured, I know". Wei Hen said then told Zhi Peng to bring his handmade bar soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, and his clean cloth.

Zhi Peng said a few funny words before he went out of the room to get his master's needed stuff.

After Wei Hen waited for a while, Zhi Peng come back and brought the things that Wei Hen wanted. Then, Wei Hen tells Zhi Peng his intention that he wants to stroll around the town after he finished taking a bath and then asks him if he wants to accompany him.

Zhi Peng, of course, became elated when he heard this and agreed to his master's invitation. Then, he walks out of the room and waited for his master outside the room.

After Wei Hen was done taking a bath, he readies himself, fixes his still-wet hair and cloth then walks out of his room.

As usual, Zhi Peng didn't forget to flatter Wei Hen with his ' always flattery' mouth when he saw him come out of his room.

The two of them walk down the stairs toward the streets. This time, Wei Hen did not bring Shi Lei. Because he(Wei Hen) knows that, he(Shi Lei) must be exhausted for these past few days. Furthermore, Wei Hen feels awkward being around Shi Lei after he knows how Shi Lei feels toward him.

For the time being, he feels Shi Lei has to have his own private time. Besides, with Zhi Peng's previous career, he knows a lot more about foreign towns and cities inside this empire than Shi Lei.

The two of them walk side by side. Along the way, Zhi Peng explains the things he knew about the town to Wei Hen and Wei Hen nodded his head and asks some questions from time to time in return.
