THE LADY IN GREEN

"YOUNG MISS, I brought lunch for you."

Yujin smiled when Miss Inhye, the maid working for her family for years now, spread the homecooked meals that she prepared on the table on bed in front of her. "All the dishes look warm and delicious, ahjumma. And they are my favorites."

"I'm glad that you still like those dishes," Miss Inhye said, smiling warmly at her. "The young master said he'll be a little late, so you may eat first, Young Miss."

She smiled and nodded.

Then–

"Omo!" Miss Inhye exclaimed when Wook suddenly stood up while growling. "What's wrong, Wook-ssi?"

Yujin knitted her eyebrows because she could only think of one reason why Wook would react this way: evil ghosts. "Wookie, are we in danger?"

"Stay here," Wook said, then he picked up the wooden baseball bat leaning against the wall. After that, he handed it to her. "I'll check on it."

She nodded and gripped the wooden baseball bat tightly. "Okay. Be careful, Wookie."
