I was shocked. Is she for real? I thought she knew me better than this

"ofcourse not. I just told he is not my boyfriend" I said frustrated.

"Well that's two different things you know." she said like she was stating an obvious. It might be but not in my case.

"Can you think before you…" I was cut off by a phone ring. It was Krutik.

"Hello"

"Heyy" the voice from other end spoke

"Do you want me to bring you dinner. I will leave on time today"

Honestly our on time was as good as early considering we have worked overtime almost every day this month

"Yess… that would be great. Thank You"

"What do you want?"

"I will text you my order"

"Works, Byee" and the call ended

"Ohhh was it Krutik? I wouldn't mind if you would want to talk longer. Oh and also if you want I can find some other place as well" Ivy said wiggling her eyebrows.

"Have you even heard one thing from what all I said. I am telling you for the last time there is nothing between us and never ever tease me in front on Krutik. It will be very uncomfortable plus we work together" I said warning her

"okay okay not in-front of him promise" Ivy said smiling and I just nodded my head

I asked V what she wanted to eat we decided to have subway and I texted our order to Krutik.

Then we talked about how our lives have been past few months. It was almost 9 when Krutik entered the house.

I got up and introduced them to each other

"Krutik this is V… I mean Ivy, My best friend and our new roommate and V this is Krutik my colleague and our roommate"

"Hello, welcome home" Krutik said extending his hand

Ivy said taking his hand "Hii. Ammmm from what I see you are quite hot and good looking, I am not sure though why my friend has still not made a move, this is what I have heard at least I don't know if anything…"

"Shut Up V" I said cutting her off. Embarrassment was all over our faces

"Ammm… well maybe she isn't into looks and Thank you for the compliment." Krutik said jokingly trying to lightened the mood.

'Well even if I am not into looks, his heart is better than is face so he wins there as well'

We had a little awkward dinner and then we went straight to our bedrooms. I and V talked till midnight but then as I had work next morning I told her to go to sleep.

The next day I and Krutik went to the office. I think people had started noticing by now that we always come together and well you can't stop rumours…. Can you? especially when you are around Krutik you attract more attention as he was quite an attraction spot of our office.

I was called by Mrs Khosla and I knew it was going to be a long 2 hours and I couldn't even sit. I still don't get it what is her obsession with lectures doesn't she gets to speak enough already? I entered the office and in no time she started – "I hear quite a rumors about your new beau"
