THE CLUB - 2

I followed her gaze and I couldn't believe what my eyes just saw.

"Mr G!" I whispered to myself

Krutik looked at me with a puzzled gaze. – "You know him?"

"No no I don't" I replied nervously

As he came near us he greeted Ivy and looked at me for a second and said with a smile – "We meet again"

Oh no… he remembers me….. on second thought... he remembers ME?

"yeahh… Hii" I said with a straight smile.

"You two know each other?" Ivy asked looking at both of us while Krutik gave me a confused look.

"Not Exactly" I said hesitating but Mr G completed my statement saying – "We just saw each other... briefly. Good to see you anyways Rhea"

I was shocked that he knew my name. Well I assumed V might have mentioned it somewhere and then hue turned to Krutik and said "And you would be ----"

"Hello, Myself Krutik" Krutik said with a smile and extended his hand. – "And you..?"

"Veer. Nice to me you" and both of them shook hands.

So Mr G's name is Veer…. Hmmmm…. Nice. Atleast I have a name now. But whst would be tge odds that I ended up meeting him?

We were told that we have to still wait for 5 more minitues before we could enter. They were having some small talks while I was just standing there and awkwardly smiling. I did took 2-3 Glance at Mr G… oh sorry Veer. Well he looked more handsome up-close. He was dressed casually in black T-shirt and denim jeans, what caught my attention were his black and red sneakers, Looked daam good. I did saw him check me out once or twice, and he doesn't even pretend that he was not doing what I thought he was doing. Finally after a long wait we went inside.

As soon as I took a step inside I heard a loud music… it was too loud and there were so many people. Well I have adjusted to the fact that Mumbai is flooded with people but this were some drunk people dancing like there is no tomorrow. I struggled to hold up the pace with others while they were making their way towards an empty booth.

Krutik saw me struggle a little so he held my wrist tight so I wouldn't get lost within the crowd. As we reached our booth Veer and Ivy saw us holding hands

"Something is cookinggg" Ivy said faking a cough

"V…" I shouted, I think I shouted a little too loudly that a couple of people even looked at us.

"I surrender. I am sorry" Ivy said before I could say anything at all holding her hands up

I immediately looked at Veer, maybe because I did not want him to misunderstand that there is something between us or maybe I just wanted to see how he reacted. But there was no reaction. Veer, Krutik and V ordered drinks and I ordered a non-alcoholic mocktail. After some drinks and lot of chatting Ivy dragged me to the dance floor.

I and Ivy danced to all the Bollywood Music while both the boys were chatting in the booth, what a bore. Honestly it was one of the best feelings. Loud Music, dark rooms and no one cares what you are doing just enjoy and dance however you wish to. But I don't think I can enjoy this on a regular basis.

When I was tired I went and sat with Krutik and Veer still trying to hold my breath.

"Enjoying yourself huh?" Krutik asked laughing

"Yeah… but my legs are killing me" I said huffing "I am going to sleep in all day tomorrow"

"You won't" Krutik said rolling his eyes

"Yeah… Yeah you are right, I won't" I said roiling the eyes back at him

However tired I am I can't sleep for whole day, I just need to do something productive in a day, whatever it is. Within some months Krutik knew me so well, maybe even better than my own family has ever known me.

After some more drinks we decided that we should finally head home as it was already quite late. I had to drive today beacause ofcourse other three were drunk. Ivy was totally wasted. Thank god Veer and Krutik were in better condition or it would have been difficult for me to take care of all three of them

As we were on our way down to the parking I asked Veer – "So veer where do you stay? Should I drop you somewhere?"

He looked at me for some seconds before he replied – "Oh I live in Powai… would take a lot of time to reach there… Was thinking of taking a cab"

"Powai is quite far from here. Why don't you just crash at our place today? Anyways tomorrow is Sunday and it's pretty late. If you don't mind ofcourse" Krutik said

"No no I wouldn't want to impose" Veer said

"Oh nothing to impose." I said backing Krutik words

Drive till our apartment was short. We reached our apartment and I took Ivy to our bed and tucked her in. Krutik and Veer slept in Krutik's room. I was a little tired but my legs were hurting so much that I had to take some painkillers before going to sleep.
