caverns and acid

with our containers we then go forward to the lake, as we started to separate a bit but not out of each other's sight, so nothing can take us all at once, as Cody is beside me

"I wonder how these spiders got so massive, I can tell just from the size of the nest, there doesn't seem to be many food sources here, so, how?"

"I rather not know Cody"

I say with a small shiver as I go over to the acid lake with the others as I look at the container as it had the instructions on the side

as it says, I go to turn the cap at the side to open, and the tube released I put in the acid and have it begin to suck up the acid as while it's slow, I am in constant worry of the nest right there in the distance in front of me, as Cody does theirs beside me as I whisper

"This should be at least a bit quicker, with the spiders' nest right there, and the tunnels"

"It's the acid, I don't know how strong it is, but I doubt it will be good for us if it splashes drops on our hands"

"right, but I still can worry right?"

"Indeed, and ready to hide"

as they point to two spiders like a sentry team starting to come over 10 ft tall as acid leaks from their fangs with black coats as their legs move faster than they seem to carry such a weight of it, as soon others begin to rush away, 3 or 4 accidentally splashing avid on themselves try to rush away as it burns right through their leg or hand and continues as those that got hit with it either scream in pain from their arms or collapse when it hits their legs as the spiders split off one Going toward us

as I soon shut the thing off and take the container, rushing with Cody as well as being careful to have the containers low trying not the spill them as the spider come closer, starting to rush over as it gets to one of the 2 that have collapsed as the scream we can hear a crunch in the distance my eyes widening from it as Cody speaks

"That crack means we have time all we-"

as the other spider charges right at Cody who I push away, as Cody is confused about how the other got here so fast, as it slams right into me as I can feel some of my bones start to crack as I was basically thrown across the ground as I count it a miracle none of the acid got on me

as I quickly try to scramble up as I see the other spider rush right toward me Cody begins to go into a cavern to hide from the sight of the other spider that finished the first person and going to the second, and I know the other spider will catch me quickly if I don't run as fast as possible, as I can hear it coming closer with its hiss all that tells me it's still there As I try my hardest to run forward as I look straight at the elevator that is safety until

time seemingly slowed for me as I fall into one of the caverns, as I stumble down the cavern As my bones fully collapse all the way down the bottom of the cavern that looks like a dark abyss in front of me, I look over to the cavern hole at the surface to see if I can climb up I see the spider right there, guarding the hole and starting to carefully crawl down it as I begin going deeper into the darkness to avoid the spider as I make it down

sweat comes down my face as it goes deeper into the cave along with me as we go deeper into the abyss and its close cavern walls all I see of the spider are its eyes it seeminly stops and starting to retreat as I stood there confused for a moment until I look behind me seeing a distant faded blue much deeper in the cave as the spider has started fully leaving the cave as I look at the glow, and walk towards it

as I get closer to the blue glow the cavern opens up the source of the blue glow is a glowing grass seemingly making a path down further into the cavern feeling almost drawn to where the grass leads as I walk down the cavern, as bits of the grass turns to a beaten path, to a road, and soon an entrance full of glowing grass showing, an empty town, silent and empty, as my trance breaks looking at it

"Where, am I?"

I say looking around the place and looking at the name of the entrance in blue crystal letters

"Welcome to cave para-dise?"

as I walk past the entrance to see multiple buildings slightly withered by time as I see a home completely turned inside out by one that looks like it was just abandoned it was, just weird

"Hello? anybody?"

as I hear no response in the silence all I see are homes in different stages of withering, as I decide it might not be a good idea to enter any of these buildings as I walk around this strange town from a home covered in stuff, an orphanage, a clearly broken in restaurant, and a completely collapsed building I couldn't even tell its original purpose and a path further down

"well this place has a strange mix-up of buildings, shouldn't there be some police station or a school?"

the strange issue aside I look at the path further down this town, as I walk down it, wherever I am maybe this path can take me to the exit as I start to Traverse down it following the trail of blue glowing grass

"This place is, wierd"

as my voice echos throughout the cavern As I follow the path

"how did I even get here? I doubt the spiders made this "

as I continue down the path, seeing a place with lights in the distance, noticing I begin to pick up my pace to the lights, it might not be an exit but it must have something to get from this cavern As I start to see a more detailed look at the building, a house as I stop by its door

"the, hell?"

as I look up at it, the place looks like the residents are just at work as it has 2 floors with white walls, and a black roof and door, as I, walk inside

the living room has a good TV and couch set up, with grey walls and carpet dimly lit up as a family picture in one of the walls as I continue

the place wasn't all that special, a bathroom on both floors 3 bedrooms on the first floor and 2 on the second, even the kitchen was normal

1 bedroom is covered in pink however I see multiple "toys" taken apart and put back together with other toys making abominations to just look at as I decide to leave it quickly

another was pitch black inside As I was basically blind in it even when the light of the hallway was bright it didn't lighten up the room with the door open

3rd was actually pretty normal, a Halloween mask and A tv, all like a normal person's room

the 2nd-floor room doors are all locked and no matter how I tried even bringing kitchen appliances but it does nothing, as I finally give up and go to at least put the broken applianc-es

"back?"

I took my attention away and their gone, as I get a bad feeling and start rushing down the stairs I accidentally kick something out the door on the way out as I close the house door again breathing, nothing is moving or happening as I breathe a sigh of relief Noticing what I kicked outside

it looks to be an average mask with a black base and a cracked-open white smile painted on, along with white wide eyes with eye holes

I get a small shiver just looking at it, as I open the door a crack and grab the mask to throw it back in

however, the moment I touched it, all went black
