" So, what's the plan to study this thing without dying to it?"

I say to Jerry, in which, as a predicted Chris and Cole are there, also ent showed up as well, just watching probably to see what we are planning today as Jerry speaks up

"we give it some bait, of course. That way, it would surface."

" ok, what kind?"

" movement you said before that you just came over then it started to rumble correct? as well as feeling pressure from it from the start?"

as I nod to Jerry's answers, I start to get what he means, and probably how it hunts

" it's sounding more like a large living rat trap if anything now,"

this cuases Cole to get into the conversation

" So like the death jaw worms! they dig into the sand and wait for prey to step over them, usually their faster, but even then, it must be a massive version. "

as chis nods

" and maybe that also explains the tunnels. Maybe these death worms are the ones that made them -"

as ent interrupts chris midway through

" then how haven't we found them till now?, lemme remind you, that from the start you all Hid in the tunnels to avoid the spiders, so why now are they being discovered, and presumably in such a small number since it's not like Jake was the only person that went to the caverns by the nest"

"that, is a great question ent, not like I know how to answer such one with the sheer lack of details we have at the moment, maybe this means we should make a private expedition around the nest, other than Jake since that event may-"

" No way am I listening to that jerry, you know im coming nightmares or not, especially since you definitely are."

" Nightmares? about what?"

ent speaks up as I couldn't help but sigh at it

" Should I say it, jerry?"

" Sure, it's not like I brought someone we couldn't trust."

I chuckle a little as I nod at him, sighing at my slight embarrassment about it

" Yeah, alright, that's fair. we have been working together for a bit, that's for sure! it's just"

I take a breath as I begin

" I dunno why but when we found a weird mask thing, I've been having a similar nightmare almost every time I sleep, the base is dilapidated and falling apart and yet I can leave and see out of it, but that's not what messes with me honestly, it's like, a, glimpse of the future if you know what I mean"

" No, I don't know what you mean, and, mask?"

I look over to ent who has said so as I start to see they are more surprised if anything, and if anything, with a very, thoughtful and worried look on their face as they stare, catching me a little off guard as I fake a cough to get my mind back on track and continue on

"Wells it's like , the place was like the same night that one time you and Brownie went out but, I was alone, and I kept dying every time and yet, that's not the strangest part, as suddenly it went from that night to a base that has clearly progressed I mean atleast three more walls, the place looks like a city more then a base yet, it's all in ruins, practically falling apart and almost always the same vain of sentence gets into my head, don't, go inside the nest, and while there are different dreams from the norm at the beginning it just, feels worrying yknow, and I barely remember what the mask was anyway compared to the nightmares, so sorry about that part"

" Luckily I do, it's a black mask with white eyes And a mouth seemingly scratched off"

luckily, it seems they remember pretty well, though that sentence as predicted made the other three somewhat pale, even ent is shaken from it as they ask some questions

" th-en where did you find it? any idea about the different kinds of nightmares you mentioned? Are there any more details of the falling apart base? and, if this has become so consistent, why do you still plan to go there!?"

" Oh! we found it in a random cavern even I have no idea which one now just that it was near the base, as for why, Jerry is one of my best friends if he is going over to wherever that thing, worm? I'll go as well, plus I know about it this time. "

ent still looks unsure of my idea until Cole and Chris just look over to him cuasing him to sigh and give up about it as we start to converse on what to actually do for that investigation as the three researches search around while me and ent will make sure the three stay alive and check on the ground for more of whatever the thing is as well as checking around the actual nest to going deeper then Jerry has went before, as he mentioned something else of interest as well

when we met up the next day after preparations and me telling Cody and Brownie about it, Cody just said be careful and get a normal sword and stay stocked with arrows and put a camera alert system on me hidden under my armors visor, as Brownie wished me luck

" before we head off I'll report something I found while in the nest again, their are metal spiders inside along with the many acid spiders, so stay in between the ground and the webbing as none of the spiders even the silk spiders would notice if your there, I'm sure"

" Nice voice of confidence, jerry. I was almost worried there,"

said a certain person with a glare as if he read that from Mike's away

" Anyway, what I found was a building which I mostly just told Jake about,"

"Indeed -"

"However, let's just say nowadays it looks like it's on?"

that made me look over to then, since when has it turned on? though seeing Jerry's face, I decided to keep my mouth closed

" a building in the middle of the nest? how has it not been destroyed? and it shouldn't be on, that would mean someone is, inside, any idea of what, since from your friends face he didn't know about it being on either"

" Chris is right how has it still have power, and how has a spider not killed whats inside we have seen the size of those things, if anything how strong were those walls"

" You two! calm down already!"

ent shouts ahead, stopping the two, as they sigh, massaging what I think is a growing headache as they look straight at Jerry with a glare

" Why do you say this now, and not during when you first found the building or even made the little guide for the spiders?"

" Honestly, fear of a leak, I trust you all, but sometimes it's better to be safe them sorry, you know?"

at that point, ent looks a little exasperated but nodding

" fair point, if any one of us where to show the notes it would give the seven much more then what is wanted for them to know, so I see, and agree with your point, but back to the subject, any defining features on this building since it seems that we are gonna check that as well, after the strange creature, though I fear it may act quicker that last time, I just hope they don't go toward to quickly from the nest"

" The trap jaw worm maybe, yes it probably would, maybe this is something we would have to mention to the seven, since they have a living factory with them"

" Indeed, sadly, so who is going to say the stuff?"

as Jerry chuckled a little in embarrassment to answer

" Well, you the best at conversations than us other than Jake, maybe, but even them has gotten some -"

" Problems with the seven, correct?"

" in-deed correct, apologies for the sudden quest, but you are so far the one with the most likely success out of all of us,"

ent sighs Muttering under his breath something about 'you have no idea' as they speak with Jerry a little bit then nod as they head off to the moving city, and the elevator under it that would take him up, though I feel bad for the amount he will have to walk

"Well, since that matter is settled, what's the plan for preparations? well, other than pooling in for stealth and webbing, add on to avoid sight and avoid the ground. "

" storing some food for the trip we simple eat a little less for a couple of days and leave it at the greenhouse to store it for the trip, along with the water while not necessarily full stomachs we should be fine"

" me and Cole do that plenty enough as is we have already just give it to others who use it more"

"and I'll just lesson the hunts to live off little water besides, I did it once already, just not as extreme as completely forgoing this time"

" You what?"

Cole looked at me weirdly a moment but just shrugged as I ignored it

" either way it seems that won't be much an issue, meanwhile I will call Brownie and Cody over to help make some bags to hold the food, since both are fairly good on the construction and invention parts, and Cody will agree the moment they hear about these strange worms"

" So, let us begin, right?"

I say as we all nod

I could always become one with the shadows to go faster down, but right now, I need the time to think to myself

the whole group is just a little two trusting, even when I stayed a little to see I'd the conversation changed all they talked about is rations and getting the armor ready for the objective it was so, clear

I sigh as I make it to the moving city cracking my neck looking around me as I take my true form to travel up through the giant things shadows to bring it up to the boss as I can already see him have wolf get some with slimers help to get metal to research it, as for the building and notes, I'll, wait a little more on the notes, and send the building report when the plan for it comes to pass

" If anything, I'm sure to avoid telling Cook about it so they don't get headfirst into it. Otherwise, metal will kill me"
