Final Decision.

"Hello?"

"Hey, man."

Silence.

Eric chuckled. "What? You getting cold feet?"

I let out a small laugh. "Yeah... kinda."

"But that's not why you called, is it?"

I exhaled, steadying myself. "No. I just wanted to say that no matter what happens tomorrow, I'm all in."

Eric stayed quiet, letting me continue.

"I'm going to trust you fully and follow your lead," I said. "And you were right the other day... I don't always take the initiative, I—"

"Hey," Eric cut in. "Now's not the time for that talk. When this is over, you and I will sit down and figure out what you really want. But for now, focus."

He paused, then added with a grin in his voice, "And remember, I've got your back. So let's get this done first and then you can get all mopey on me."

I let out a small chuckle, shaking my head.

"Yeah... Alright."

"Good. Now get some sleep, we've got a long day ahead," Eric said before hanging up.
