Ash Is Feeling Annoyed

Omar finished cleaning up the broken monitor and wiping the floor. At the same time, Ash finished his breakfast.

Sara stood by her boss’ side, waiting to bring out the breakfast tray. The young woman took the plate and cutlery and stacked them neatly on the tray. Sarah was about to take them out of the room when Ash reminded her, “Don’t forget to have someone install a new monitor for me.”

Sarah nodded, and she immediately informed the management supply division about it.

After Sara and Omar left him alone in his office, Ash read again the information about Sara. He couldn’t keep reading while Sara was in the room because he didn’t want to be caught by her. She might think he was interested in her to stalk her information. Tch.

Nope. He couldn't let her misunderstand. Ash Winchester was NEVER interested in any woman. They were the ones who were interested in him. Not the other way around.

He read the details again. Ash was happy to confirm that Sara was in Paris a month ago. He scrolled down Sara’s data on his phone screen, and he saw the details about the woman’s information in Paris.

First, about the reason why Sara went to Paris. Ash frowned. He was surprised to discover that Sara had gone to Paris for…

Honeymoon?

Ash paused for a moment. If that woman came to Paris for her honeymoon, then why—

Ahh...

His eyes opened a little wider as he looked at Sara’s information before the woman left for Paris. Sara didn’t go to Paris for a honeymoon, but for a holiday after she failed to get married.

Right, the young woman who seduced him in Paris had just failed to get married.

Sara almost married her fiancé last month, but it seemed they broke up on the last day. The man waited for her at the altar but she never came. Ash stopped again and thought about it. Maybe Sara went to Paris to use her own plane tickets, hotel vouchers, and honeymoon suite, so they didn’t go to waste.

At the same time, she used the opportunity to console herself after the break-up. After all, there were no rules if the honeymoon suite had to be occupied by two people.

Ash understood why it was so hard to find Sara back then. The hotel staff he sent to look for the woman didn’t search for the honeymoon suite because Ash described her as a single woman. They must think the honeymoon suite was occupied by a couple and didn't bother checking there to find her.

Still, Ash couldn’t believe that Sara had abandoned him after their steamy night together. Ash should be the one who left her, not the other way around.

As soon as Ash realized that, Sara came back to his office with one of the staff from the supply department who would install the monitor for the big boss. Sara helped the staff as best she could in a friendly and courteous manner. The woman smiled at everyone, even at Omar.

Ash watched Sara closely, and he realized that she probably didn’t remember him or the night they had spent together. Instead of wanting to humiliate Sara for her stupidity for forgetting him, Ash was annoyed with himself.

Why did this bother him so much? He didn’t know the answer.

Ash was annoyed because of an unexplainable reason, though deep down he knew that his pride had been hurt. Sara forgot about him, a handsome, perfect, sexy, and dignified man who was amazing in bed, just as Ash had forgotten and dumped the women he had lost sight of.

Was this how they felt? Ash didn’t like this.

He changed the way he thought and reassured himself that it would be fine if he threw those women away. They should be the ones who felt grateful for having the opportunity to experience a one-night stand with him.

However, after experiencing this himself, especially because of Sara, the woman who looked innocent, Ash wanted to dig a hole and bury everything.

Meanwhile, Sara, who felt her boss’ gaze, turned her head to him. Ash was too late to avert his eyes from Sara. He was caught looking at the woman with an intense gaze. Ash quickly looked away.

“Tch. This wall is starting to look boring,” Ash commented, staring at the wall to his right. “You go and find a new interior designer to redesign this room,” he ordered Sara.

Sara didn’t understand why her boss was so weird. She couldn’t guess what was going through the boss’s mind, and she felt uncomfortable about it.

“All right, Mr. Winchester,” Sara complied. She left the man’s office and took careful note of Ash's request.

Sara sat at her desk, and she began to research interior designers for her boss’s office. She looked at her computer screen thoroughly and carefully. However, she was doing her work comfortably because, right now, she didn’t have to face Ash.

Meanwhile, Ash, in his room, began to make plans to get Sara’s attention.

His pride had been trampled, and Ash wanted to take revenge by making Sara beg him to spend the night with her again. He wanted Sara to fall head over heels for him, like all the other women who were crazy about him.

So, thus… Sara’s tiring day began.

Ash asked her to do various tasks that Sara had never expected, such as taking files from other floors and sorting them neatly in alphabetical order before Ash's eyes.

Not only that, Ash also told her to divide the files the man should read first and those he could read later, without telling Sara further information.

Of course, Sara didn’t give up easily. She read all the files one by one, divided them, and even arranged them based on urgency. The ones which Ash should read first, she placed them on top, and at the bottom was for less important files that Ash could read later. Unfortunately, none of that impressed Ash at all.

Well, Ash wasn’t doing all that to get Sara to do a good job for him, but simply to get her attention. He wanted to make Sara interact with him more, so the young woman realized his charm.

In the afternoon, Sara felt tired. There was only an hour left until her work time was over. She cheered herself up after looking at the clock on the wall.

“Just a little bit more, Sara. You can do it!” Sara whispered to herself.

“Sarah! Where is my coffee?” Ash shouted from behind his office door.

Sarah gasped. She was so immersed in Ash's previous assignment that she forgot the man asked her for a cup of coffee.

“Yes, Mr. Winchester, I’ll bring your coffee right away,” Sara said. She ran to the pantry.

Sara entered Ash's office carefully with the coffee she had made, knocking on the door and asking for permission. Ash told her to come in and Sara entered. She carefully put the coffee on his desk

When Sara took a glance at the desk, she saw the files on Ash's desk hadn’t changed at all. Was this guy not working at all?

Well, Sara didn’t know how CEOs of big companies work. In fact, Ash did not care about his job at all. Sara left his room and returned to her station to finish her work again.

When she came back to Ash's room again to drop the file she had finished, the man was still in the same position as before. So did the files on the desk. Even the coffee hadn’t been touched. Sara began to suspect that her boss might not be working at all. She secretly took a glance at what the man was doing on his phone.

Huh?

The man was…

Playing a game of chess online?

“Tch!” Ash suddenly clicked his tongue loudly, making Sara jolt in surprise.

“So weak! Why are all my opponents weak, huh?” the man complained, ignoring Sara.

Sara took a deep breath and held back from cursing.

So… why was that guy telling her to go up and down the floor, run around the building, and make coffee if he was playing games online instead?
