87. Shelly's Remorse

Shelly kicked a small pebble on the ground grudgingly. It went forward and hit the cobbled step up to the mansion's pathways.

The training grounds were two feet below the natural ground line of the mansion, and the edge of the circular open field was surrounded by steps covered in cobbled stone, which served as the row of benches.

She kept mumbling incoherent words while walking beside Mona, clearly dismayed at the result of the match. It was entirely because the money she bet on Mona was the last remaining coins in her money pouch.
