Bandits emerged from the bushes and behind the trees, each holding a weapon. Half of their faces were covered by black cloth, while they all wore simple clothing, like that of a farmer. Their weapons were just bows and arrows, and only two were carrying a sword.

The ones that jumped in front of Luven and dueled him.

Luven tilted his head and attacked the other man, while the mercenary with him attacked another. One swing of his sword sent the man flying a few meters away from him, thus making him wonder how such a weak group could overturn a caravan escorted by mercenaries.

Soon, his wonder was answered. Five of the men holding bows and arrows positioned their arms and shot straight to their side. The arrows that came crashing down to them looked ordinary, but when they reached a certain altitude, the tip of the flying arrows grazed the wind and created sparks before they completely turned into fire.
