106. Seeking Answers from the Head Mage (2)

As the dawn began to break, the darkness brought by the chilling night faded and the morning light passed through the glass window of a room where an image of a sleep-deprived person was still staring blankly at the ceiling.

She was unmoving, yet her eyes were still filled with vibrancy. Inside her mind were filled with newfound ideas and swirling with many hypotheses and formulas.

But what was keeping her active mind from sleep was the conversation she had with the problematic lady of her master.

Shelly recalled what she heard from her in that very room…

"Can mana be stolen from its original owner?" Mona asked her, waiting eagerly for her answer. She was fidgety but also looked very serious.

Once again, Shelly wondered about what things had been going on inside the lady's mind. How come she always has peculiar questions with her?

Though she may sound complaining, she was entertained with her inquiries and truly piqued her interest.
