Side Story (11)

After the first ritual, each group was guided to separate locations where their first lesson of the day would commence.

Cassandra's group was led to the temple's Library Pavilion.

The Library Pavilion was a two-story building made entirely from timber. The first floor was where all the bookshelves were placed, and the second level was an open spacious space, surrounded by a waist-length wooden railing.

There were no chairs, instead, small rectangular pillows laid on the floor, one yard away from each other, and each had a small table as high as an arm's length. On the very front was a low table and another pillow. Two books were placed atop the table with a few pages of unused parchment, and an inkstone on the corner.
