120. Proclamation of Mona's death

Mona was rooted in her spot. Her knees gave out as though a heavy pressure kept pinning her down, and she knelt on the floor.

'Is it the forgotten god?' Mona thought as she bowed, her palms were sweating and the dusty floor felt rough under her skin. She suddenly felt dizzy. Her eyelids became heavy as though they wanted her to sleep already. Mona shuddered at the thought of losing consciousness in the god's presence.

She was afraid that she would never wake up as Mona again. A voice whispered in that dark room. It was low and deep like it came from the depths of earth.

"Child, don't resist me."
