123. Frozen Nation

As Yunis ordered, Luven flew to the highest peak of the highest mountain. He swiftly landed on the ground. Without so much ado, he gathered wind beneath his feet and positioned the bow and the golden arrow, then he jumped with his all might, the power of the wind pushing him higher and higher.

When he reached the highest altitude the wind could push him, he released the arrow, focusing his last remaining wind magic behind it, pushing it upward until it reached the thin barrier.

To his dismay, the arrow seemed to slow down, but Luven couldn't bear to lose that single shot, thus, the smallest amount of mana he used to control the wind to lift him, was added to the force pushing the arrow, leaving Luven with no support.

As he fell faster like raindrops, he prayed for the arrow to reach the white sheet of the barrier. But the arrow just slightly touched it. Luven felt devastated after seeing the golden arrow fall along with him.
