CHAPTER19

　　The minute she left, Alexandro's face tightened in a frown. His chin taut and his eyes blazed furiously in anger. She turned him down. How could she turn him down?

　　No one has ever done that. He was this close to snapping at his secretary who came into his office to submit a file after she left but refrained from doing so.

　　She just insulted and hurt his pride.

　　He wasn't expecting her to agree to this in the first place but at least he thought that she would've been a bit reasonable about the matter.

　　She's also a mother so she should know what it feels like to be in a position as him. She should've understood his plight and the reason for his actions.

　　Yes, he did her wrong by locking her up In prison but he had apologized hasn't he? Why was she being so stubborn and adamant about the situation.

　　The rest of the day was gruesome to him. He felt like he had failed and the thought of it put him in a bad mood.
