Felix's POV
While we waited patiently for the clock to tick around to the appointed time for the gathering of the pack, I answered Rae's questions about how we had found her, and he was especially intrigued by the sudden appearance of the enormous rogues that we had faced down before we had brought her safely back to the pack.
"Interesting," Rae hummed as he glanced at the clock, "They sound eerily familiar to some of the shifters that we encountered during the clearing of the facility."
I frowned. I didn't want to think that they had tracked her down so easily, but perhaps it was a possibility. There hadn't been any sightings of them close to our territory though, so perhaps the threat of a well defended pack was enough to put off the would-be kidnappers.
"Well, let's hope they don't make an appearance again anytime soon." I growled as Rae chuckled and shook his head, his terrifying smirk making its appearance once again.
