CHAPTER 73

  Nate's POV

The moment we broke through to our destination the cold air here practically felt tropical in comparison to the space that we had been previously.

A cheer erupted from below us and I had almost forgotten about the pack mates that had endured that flight encased inside of the dragons' claws.

"They were prewrapped in furs, Nate, do not worry. We have flown this way thousands of times with countless passengers." Rae reassured me as I briefly worried about the impact that frostbite may have had on their fighting capabilities once we arrived.

I checked on Rob as we descended through the low clouds, the landscape below us increasing in size at an alarming rate. nder normal circumstances, I was positive that I would feel as uncomfortable as Josh did, but right now, I felt only the anticipation and thrill at the prospect of the battle that was coming.
