CHAPTER 93. Peace and Quiet

I woke up earlier than usual the next morning and that could be because I fell into a deep slumber without even having my dinner. Since it was still early, Anne did not come to help me get ready for the day. I decided to wrap a thick cardigan around my body and left to look for something to appease my grumbling stomach. But, since I was not used to Gideon’s manor, I got lost fairly quickly.

I found myself roaming around just in an attempt to find another person who would be able to show me how to get to the kitchen but soon my hunger and slight exhaustion of walking around led me to head towards a door that led to a small garden.
