CHAPTER 39: assumptions and jealousy

  Raphael’s POV

  ?I knock on her door, but she didn’t open it. “Are you looking for Gwen? She went off already. She said that she’ll talk to Grace personally,” Mariz says. I simply nod. She handed me my phone.

  “She told me to give it to you. You forgot this one in her room,” she added.

  “Thanks, Mariz. I’ll go ahead. I have some matters to do in my company,” I stated. She nod.

  “Take care on your way,” she says. I smiled and leave her. I’m already on the road when I tried to call her but she canceling my call.

  “What is wrong with her? Why she’s not answering her phone?” I whispered to myself.

  When I reach my office, I can’t still reach her. I received a message from… Mara? Wait, when did her contacts appear on my phone? Plus, it has a heart on it. What the fuck!

  {Hi, sweetie. I will drop by for lunch. Let’s eat together. Please don’t ignore me anymore. I love you. Mwah!} My jaw clenched.
