Raphael’s POV
?I feel bad and disgusted myself but that’s the only thing I can do for her. Mara is scarier than I thought. I suddenly remember those memories. If only they are true. I will rather be that person, damn! She steps forwards and shed tears on my cheek.
“Huh? I’m sorry.” I turn around and was about to leave her when her hand glided on my plan and intertwine our fingers. She leans on my back.
“What happened?” she ask. I look down and tried not to slip anything.
“I know you, Raphael. I’ve already gone through such pain and humiliation. I can take it. Just don’t hide anything from me. I don’t want you to drag yourself into a situation that is against your free will,” she says.
“I can do this. Only for you,” I mumbled.
“Then you better stop. I’m selfish myself, Raphael. You are mine and no one else should have you. Especially my enemy,” she said.
“Gwen… please, don’t say that,” I replied because I knew I’ll fall for it.
