Raphael’s POV
I have a bad feeling about it. We both ran the fastest that we could. It was my brother Rahim who was busy talking on his phone. Then two grenades were lying towards him.
“Rahim!” I roared. We both grab him and we jump on the bushes of daffodils. A loud explosion fills the garden and we look back. That was close! The car drove away as fast as it could. My jaw clenched because of anger. That woman!
“What the fuck is that?” Rahim asked. We sighed and looked at the sky. Good thing that the sun is still in the East. It’s not blinding us. Maybe it was Geneva’s prank. They all came out and saw the destroyed chair and gazebo in the front yard.
“It was Mara who did that. She must have received Geneva’s gift. Are you okay?” Gwen asks. He nodded and we all raised from the grass. I am glad that we landed on this flower, not on the bed of roses. Their thorns will surely be painful.
