CHAPTER 99: His mom’s fangs

　　Gwen’s POV

　　She decided to visit him today because she misses him. That’s it. But also she wants to find a reason why she can decline her mom’s idea. Yes, her mom suddenly threw a bomb at her.

　　Earlier this morning

　　“Mom and dad, are you leaving today for Hawaii?” I ask.

　　“Yes. My daughter. Because we have to go back two days before your engagement party,” she says. I almost threw up after I heard the word engagement party. I look at them.

　　“What? Engagement party? Mom, what are you talking about? Please, tell me this is a joke,” she replied. She only laughs.

　　“Nope, I am not joking sweetheart. That’s why you have to be ready and make sure that you’re prepared for that party. Remember my best friend? Your aunt Kelly? It’s her son and we decided that you two should marry each other like how we planned after we get married,” mom says. My jaw drops.
