CHAPTER 17. Part 2.

There were three knocks on my door and I had no intention of opening it. But whoever it was was seemingly persistent, they kept on knocking and on the ninth knock, the noise sounded like a sledgehammer being brought down on my skull.

“WHAT?” I roared and the knocking stopped.

the door opened and Patrick stood there, alongside him was Bella, the last person I wanted to see right now. I was internally begging her to make a move or say something idiotic so I would have a reason to rip her throat out.

Her eyes were narrowed to slits as she looked at me with what I could only assume was the attempt of a seductive gaze, but her hands were shaking and breathing was rapid. When I looked at her face and locked my eyes on hers, Bella gulped and her head lowered as she stared at the floor.

“Dude…” Patrick exhaled and threw his hands in the air. A low, vibrating growl came from me and I saw how she tensed.
