CHAPTER 63

　　Mia snickered at him and ran to hide behind her sister.

　　Damon smiled at her instead and he turn to leave but Meria stopped him inviting him for a cup of coffee at least.

　　"No I'm okay"he said and climb down the stairs.

　　"Thank you"Meria said on top of her voice and Damon waves to her without looking at her though.

　　He entered his car and drove away,Meria felt her heart falling apart into bits as she watch him driving away till he was out of sight.

　　Suzy and Mia dragged her inside and let down the flowers and balloons everywhere on the floor.Meria smiled but her mind was not going with the welcome party they have prepared for her.

　　Suzy noticed her mood but decided not to stress her when she just got back.

　　The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground,slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky and it was ablaze with the fire of the setting sun thus the night sky was aglow with bright city lights.
