CHAPTER 25: Difficult Than Before

  I looked at the small fountain, with a few flowers I tore from the garden, in my hand.

  There was no way I could escape because of the border. I mean, I know they were rich. But why did they have to show off by putting a huge border here?

  And that Vexon! He was really annoying.

  Wait. How did Vexon come in between?

  Due to Vexon, my mind flashed back to yesterday night, when I had pushed him.

  What was wrong with me? Why did I embarrass myself?

  "The borders disappointed you, didn't they?" hearing Pearl?s sudden voice, I shrieked. The flowers I had in my hand fell down.

  "What?" I asked as I turned to face her.

  A smirk was plastered on her face. "Couldn't escape, boo?"

  I glared at her, and said, "I was just strolling." She laughed it off, making me ask further, eyeing her suspiciously, "What brings you here?"

  "I brought us some lunch," she informed me.

  "What?s wrong with the dining table?" I inquired her.
