　　“What are you going to do with that?” Edmond laughed.


　　“I'm going to bond with the darkness.” Valarie challenged.


　　“Suit yourself,” Edmond said as he was about to leave. “Before you go you should know the truth.”


　　“Don't listen to him, he's going to manipulate you.” Hayley interjected taking Valarie's arm.


　　“You are my daughter Valarie. Get that into your skull. I know you love me, but I don't approve it because you're my fucking blood! Do you think you are not beautiful? You are just not lucky. Do whatever you want but make sure it returns to me.” Edmond concluded before disappearing into the kitchen. Valarie whimpered as she stepped backward, she almost fell but Hayley caught her before they disappeared.
