CHAPTER 118

The haggard looking middle-aged man was led out of the prison cell, accompanied on both sides by police officers as he handed over his prison uniform before being led to the deputy officer's office, his hands held together by metallic handcuffs.

His head was left completely bald in the center with only unkempt strands of salt-and-pepper hair crowding around the edges. His overly tanned, almost black, face was enshrouded by wrinkles and his nose was unbelievably crooked, appearing to have been broken more times than countable.

His exposed nape gave way to the sight of the snake tattoo slithering all the way across his neck and stopping just below his jawline. His green eyes were dim and lifeless and there appeared to be a limp in his step as he walked lamely with the officers into the deputy's office.

Needless to say, close to eighteen years of being imprisoned had surely taken its toll on the man.
