CHAPTER 21 Kyler

Paisley is still at mine. She had been here since she came by after the club in the early hours, and now it is Sunday evening. She was going to go home hours ago, but I talked her into staying. The truth was, I was feeling lonely. Yes, we have had plenty of sex, but I mean company-wise, someone to hang out with when I say loneliness. I miss the company of a woman sometimes because I was used to having it for so long. It didn’t take much convincing on my part to make her stay.

We had kept ourselves occupied for the day. I was making us dinner, nothing fancy—macaroni cheese, with extra cheese.

“I hope you have put enough cheese in that.”?Paisley laughs as she sits on the kitchen counter and watches me cook. She had offered to help, but I refused.

“Do you want food?” I ask with a cocked brow.

  “Yes,”

“Then hush, or you will get nothing,” I chuckle.

“Fine then. I will go home and make my dinner.”?

She was trying to stay serious but wasn’t doing a good job of it.
