Chapter 3: Confusion

Alice, nothing is wrong with your nails. They seem normal to me. But mum they-yy, Alice it's fine seeing things but yelling mum is scary okay? Yes mum. Bye dear, bye mum, goodnight.

But my nails were long I know it I'm surely not seeing things, I know what I saw (soliloquizing) till she falls asleep.

MIDNIGHT

At Alice's window growls and howls were being heard then she woke up. She walks to the window and sees creatures that looks exactly like the one in her dream. Then she feels she's seeing things just like her mum said so she goes back to sleep. She has a dream and same woman appears to her again this time with tears asking Alice why she refused to attend to her kind when Alice tries running she feels she's falling into a trance then she wakes sweating profusely.

MORNING

Alice sluggishly walks to the bathroom to brush and shower. While brushing in front of her mirror she notices her hairs changed colour and this time it was red.

What, how is this possible??

Her mum comes in and sees her with the hair red and is really mad at Alice. Alice, why would you dye your hair?? I'm not saying that it's wrong to do that... Alice cuts in, mum I didn't dye my hair, i swear I didn't, I woke up and found it this way. I'm quite surprised as you are. Mum, first my eyes, then nails and now my hair. Mum what's happening, I'm scared.

It's gonna be fine honey maybe it's a genetic change that takes place in your former family. I'm sure you'll get used to it.

Ok mum.

That registration I told you about im done and since the summer will be over in a week's time, it's wise you get prepared, ok? Yes mum.

Have your bath fast so you can eat your breakfast ok?? Yes mum.

Alice soliloquizing something is missing somewhere, I know it, something isn't just right. She's done with her bath and eats her breakfast. Then starts preparation for school since Summer's almost over.
