"You can never be a mother. Your womb cannot carry a child" the doctor announced to Catherine after so many miscarriages with unknown causes.
"Now you are pregnant with twin daughters" the same doctor told her again. She couldn't believe her ears. She went for another test and it came out positive.
Arthur, her husband, is overjoyed but keeps the babies a secret until they are delivered. Now the babies are born, one is dead and the other has Autism. Catherine thought she couldn't be more shattered until she looses her husband as well and is taken into captivity by an unknown man who claimed to be responsible for her miscarriages. MIA AND MARA ; break the curse

My heart wouldn't stop beating even for a second, I felt like it was going at 50 beats per second but I finally calmed down when I received a call. 


"I have gotten the package, you will receive your payment when the boss confirms it's authenticity" a deep voice spoke to me over the phone. 


"I'll be waiting" I hung up immediately and not too long after that I got another call. 


"When will I get my payment? I have done the job?" Mara was being too fierce. 


"You have to calm down. You have delivered the package but I haven't gotten any confirmation yet. When I do, trust me you will get your payment" I assured her. 


I hope this lady wasn't pulling a fast one on me because I don't understand anything she said over the phone. 


"Mara" my mum called out to me and I turned around to look at her as I slowly put the phone down from my ear.
