"You can never be a mother. Your womb cannot carry a child" the doctor announced to Catherine after so many miscarriages with unknown causes.
"Now you are pregnant with twin daughters" the same doctor told her again. She couldn't believe her ears. She went for another test and it came out positive.
Arthur, her husband, is overjoyed but keeps the babies a secret until they are delivered. Now the babies are born, one is dead and the other has Autism. Catherine thought she couldn't be more shattered until she looses her husband as well and is taken into captivity by an unknown man who claimed to be responsible for her miscarriages. MIA AND MARA ; break the curse

I watched as the strange man foolishly left the room as if he wasn't even in control of his own mind and I wasn't surprised at all. It wasn't the first time it was happening. 


"Arthur!" I called out to my husband as I used my eyes to scan the room only to find him sitting on the couch in the room. 


"Thank goodness you are here. Let's go please, just take me away from this place please '' I pleaded with Arthur. I had enough of this place and I knew that my cup was filled up, I wasbt so sure that this strange man would still keep me alive. 


"No Catherine, I cannot do that. You will have to stay here because I cannot take you away from him unfortunately" Arthur was trying to sound strong but I could sense the sadness in his voice. 


"Why Arthur? Why do you want to leave me here?" A teardrop escaped from my eyes.
