Aurora got the two-sized bed and I got the armchair.

There's only a bed in the room and of course, I won't be sleeping with her. I can see a pool from one of the windows; it seems pretty clean but nobody's in for now. The cries of the crickets replace very slowly the cicadas and the sky's starting to burn crimson. But I already turned on a lamp since sunlight doesn't wander that much into the room. Her smile remains with the heat.

"Wanna grab a dinner before sleeping?"

"…I'm fine, I already ate all the snacks anyway," she laughed off.

"So what now?"

"…Sleep?"

"Alright."

So I lifted her off her wheelchair and put her down on the bed. She managed to wrap herself up in the cheaply thin sheet before patting the void next to her with a smile.

"You want me to sleep with you?"

"…I was actually checking for fleas, duh."

I took off my shoes and my time to lay next to her. It was my first time sharing a bed with a girl, besides a disabled girl. As soon as I got in, she started hugging me with her slim arms and I could feel the gentleness of her breast on my right side. Then she giggled while I probably must've looked self-conscious.

"…It's warmer than the sun," and she giggled again.

Her skin was somewhat cold, almost lukewarm and not belonging to summer. After a while, I put my arms round her too. She squeezed me harder.
