Chapter 24: Round 1 Battle of the Brothers! Closed Off Emotions

"AAAAND WE ARE ALL SET FOLKS! THE BRACKETS ARE CREATED AND WE HAVE THE FIRST MATCH STARTING RIGHT NOW! THIS IS A BATTLE BETWEEN THE OLDER AND YOUNGER SIBLING, LET'S SEE WHO WILL COME OUT VICTORIOUS! ENEL V.S KAMINARI" Present Mic shouted as the crowd cheered loudly as the two boys walked onto the arena from opposite sides. "3..2..1..BEGIN!" Mic said as Kaminari put his hands together and charged up a massive wave of electricity that went through the ground. "You always used tp beat me when we were kids Enel. But that all changes today, i'll win and show you that i can be strong too. Strong enough that you won't have to stay quiet about your issues and will talk to me" Kaminari thought as Enel jumped into the air and threw lightning spears down for him to stand on. "Let's skip the warm up and get straight to it" Enel said as he smirked. Enel then seemingly teleported behind Kaminari. "I thought you'd do that" Kaminair says as he ducks under Enels leg that was about to connect cleanly with his head. "I've been training too, learning martial arts just to be as strong as you," Kaminari says as he sweeps Enel's leg from under him. Enel recovers by landing on his hand and flipping right onto the edge of the arena. The crowd gasps as Kaminari then makes a finger gun and shoots out small balls of electricity from the tips of his fingers. We flashback to when Enel and Denki were kids and used to fight all the time. This is after Enel was adopted by the Kaminari family. "Hah,take this!" a child Kaminari said as he shot small electric balls out of his finger tips at Enel. We flash forward to the current day as Enel charges electricity in his fingers and cuts through the lightning balls. Enel then makes a lightning spear and slammed the side of it right into Denki's stomach. To Enel's surprise Denki can withstand the pain and actually counter. "Tch, HAAAH!" Denki shouts as yellow electricity cloaks his hand as he cuts through Enel's lightning spear in half. "Don't underestimate me Big Bro!" Kaminari says as he sticks his other hand out and grabs Enel's hair. Then as the lightning from his right dissipates he pulls it back and shapes it into chains. He then wraps these chains around Enel's neck and slams his face into the ground by dragging on the chains. We cut back to when Enel and Denki were kids, as kid Enel uses his tiny legs and manages to kick Denki right in the stomach. Sending him falling onto his back, kid Enel then rushed at kid Denki as we cut back to the present as Enel has Denki's face in his hands. "I can't afford to lose this battle, I have to prove to him that I'm strong enough!' Denki thinks to himself as he brings his legs back and kicks Enel in the ribs, sending him sliding back to the center of the ring. "Quit holding back Enel, I want everything you have. Give you your 100% because now I'm no longer fighting to beat you, I'm fighting to win!" Denki said as he and Enel dashed at each other with streaks of yellow and blue coming from the opposite sides of the arena. Denki uppercutted Enel but Enel brought his fists down and slammed them on Denki's head, making him bite his tongue. Denki then lands a series of punches on Enel's chest. "Heh,my turn!" Enel says as he knees Denki in the chin, staggering him. "Godspeed Combination '' Enel said as he started to dash around Denki and landed blow after blow on him. "URK!" Enel lets out as he coughs up blood. Denki managed to land a powerful Uppercut right to Enel's stomach. "100,000,000 volts! THUNDERSHOCK SURPRISE!" Denki shouts as yellow lightning comes down and strikes Enel. Enel seemingly is down for the count after that. But a voice can be heard laughing. The enel on the ground turns and fizzles out into electricity that goes into the original Enel who dashes right behind Denki with a massive fist made out of electricity. Denki gets sent flying to the other side of the arena. "Hehehe, HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Enel bellows as he wipes tears from his eyes as a wicked look on Enel's face sends a chill down Denki's spine. Enel walks over to Denki and squats next to him. "Don't worry about my problems lil bro. Once you're strong enough to bear the weight of my world, I'll tell you. But as you are now, you'll never be ready for someone else's. Train harder and you might graze me next time" Enel said as we flash back to a child Denki crying on the ground while a child Enel stood over him with a cold look and bloodied fists. Denki is then picked up and dropped out of the arena gently by Enel. "*sniffle* i-i'm s-still not strong enough *sniffle*" Denki mutters as tears roll down his face.
