Warm welcome

              The maid that was send by Oscar to go called Bethany, was currently standing at the entrance of the room.

"My lady, your father called for you" said the maid.

"Leave me alone, tell him I'm not coming, and he shouldn't try to use force, because it will only make it worst, tell him I might consider coming to meet him, if he let me go out on my own" said Bethany.

"But my lady, it's really important".

"Go and tell him I'm not coming, leave now".

The maid left to inform Oscar of what Bethany said.

"What is your connection with my daughter" asked oscar.

"I'm just a friend, can't someone visit a friend".

"As far as I know, my daughter doesn't have any male friend, and I intend to keep it that way".

"What a strong word you are using there man, do you intend to marry your daughter" asked Savarus in a sarcastic way.

"Be careful with your word young man, I could slay you where you stand and I won't be charged" said Oscar.

"Another big word coming from your mouth, I hope you are not all talk, how can you be one of the clan leader when you are so talkative".

"My Lord, Bethany refuses to come out" interrupted the maid.

"Tell her it's important, and if she doesn't come out now, she won't leave the house ever again".

"You see this is what I really love about your daughter, her stubbornness".

"What did you just say, did I just hear you correctly, how dare you say you love my daughter in front of me" said Oscar angrily before unsheathing his sword and going for an attack.

'I hope I didn't let his word get into my head, I'm not the best when it comes to a long range attack, I hope he doesn't figure that out and use it to his advantage' Oscar inwardly said.

"Like father like daughter, you guys never learn, don't you, never let your emotion get the better of you, just by the way you are holding the sword, I can clearly tell you are a close range fighter" said Savarus.

'how did he figure that out, was it that obvious, that I was planning to defend first before positioning myself to attack'.

"Don't be so shock I already know that much just by meeting your daughter and now I could clearly see where she got her fighting style from".

"Well you might have predicted my move, but that doesn't mean that you can win".

Oscar took a different fighting style this time around, first he move slowly but suddenly he increase his pace and was already standing behind Savarus, he went for the attack this time around thinking that he has gotten him, but to his surprise Savarus just move to the side and knock out the sword from his hand.

"You almost got me there, didn't know you would be that fast for your age, but it's not too surprising".

'I don't understand, I saw the opening and it was perfect, so how come' think Oscar.

"Dad I'm here, what do you want" interrupted Bethany with the maid standing by her side.

After saying those words with anger, she turned to look at everyone there, she was shock by the person she saw close to her father.

"You, what are you doing here" she pointed at him.

"Long time no see, did you miss me, I clearly missed you, that's why I'm here right now, paying you a visit" said Savarus.

"You are clearly joking, I will never miss you in a thousand years" reply Bethany.

"I clearly know you weren't able to sleep after what happened yesterday".

"I was praying for a day like this to come, so I can have my revenge, thank goodness I would be having my revenge today".

"Don't dream too much about it, because you won't be getting any revenge".

"You will feel so shock when it's going to happen" replied Bethany.

On the other hand, Bethany father was speechless, as he saw his daughter and the stranger throwing words at each other as if they have been friends for a long time.

"Bethany, who is this man and how did you get to be acquitted with him?asked Oscar.

"Dad, we are not acquittance, I don't know him at all" said Bethany".

"We are best of friends, don't let her deceive you with her word, she is just too shy to introduce me to you".

"Bethany, I want answers now, tell me how you get to know him".

"Well Dad, you remember the man I told you about yesterday, that was following me around, that's him" Bethany said, pointing at Savarus.

"Why would you say that Bethany, I wasn't following her a bit, I was just taking a walk then she assume, I was tailing her".

'I don't think I can beat this man, the aura of confidence around him is just making matter worst for me, maybe I should ask him want he wants so I could know a little about him' oscar said inwardly.

"Tell me young man what do you want".

"I don't actually want anything, I'm just here to visit a good friend, I don't see anything bad about that" replied Savarus.

The moment Savarus said this words, Oscar smiled internally, because his plan worked, he turned around to look at the maids and guards watching the scene.

"What are all of you doing there standing around like idiots, didn't you hear what he said, he is here to visit, so go and arrange something to eat and drink, make sure you treat him as a guest".

'What is the man up to' this was the thought on both Bethany and Savarus minds.

Not too long the maid was back already to inform them that the table was ready.

"Let's go have something to eat before discussing any issue we have on hand" said Oscar.

The dinning table was so quiet everybody was just lost in their thoughts apart from Savarus, the father and daughter duo, didn't even care to touch their food.

"How did you like the food, hope it was good to your taste" asked Oscar.

"Dad, what exactly do you have in mind" asked Bethany who can't take it any longer.
