Test of power

Savarus took his bath and change his clothes, he walk down from the stairs slowly, he could already see Henry waiting for him downstairs.

They took their personal carriage and rode straight to the market, didn't take both of them more that an hour before buying everything they need, Savarus was spending money like if it doesn't hold any value to him, they arrived home and was looking at everything they bought.

"I'm sure this will be enough" said Savarus looking at the massive things he has just bought.

"Forgive me for saying this, but it's more than enough, the items are really too much for just a proposal" said Henry.

While they were in the market, Savarus was picking any item which catches his eyes, he didn't care to price, he was just picking them one after the other and was paying for it.

"Don't worry about it, as long as she is okay with it then I'm definitely fine with it also".

At the king castle, Hendrick was currently on one knee, showing respect to the king.

"Your majesty, I have gotten the information you asked for" said Hendrick.

"Okay, enlighten me".

"Her name is Bethany Kramis, daughter to the leader of the bucadox clan, she is twenty-four years old, single, good in swordsmanship and archery".

"You never seems to disappoint me Hendrick, thanks for the information, when I'm less busy I will pay her a visit, where is Selvester?" Asked the king.

"He is still attending to the matter in the petrad village, but I'm sure he will be coming back today".

"That is the longest he has stay away from the castle, is the matter in the Petrad village that much serious".

Just when the king finish speaking, the door open with the said person walking inside, he got close to Hendrick and went down on one knee as a sign of respect to the king.

"Your majesty, I'm back from the Petrad village".

"I can see that very clearly, how was it".

"It's a success although a little challenging, but we came out successful".

"I know you will, go and prepare yourself, we are going to throw a feast for your successful result".

"Thank you, your majesty".

"You two are demise" said the king.

They both stand up at the same time and walk out of the door. When they got out, Hendrick gave Selvester a tight hug.

"You took up a lot of days solving this one, is it that much of a threat" asked Hendrick.

"The issue was bigger than the way the people of Petrad described it".

"Tell me what exactly happened".

"The Stravins village didn't want a treaty, they were insisting for a war, we tried different ways to negotiate with them, but all were unsuccessful, so I gave them what they wanted, a war".

"You did what.....?".

"Let me finish the story, when the war started, we just killed some few amount of their people before they changed their mind and called for a truce, so as you can see, those guys were just bluffing for a war when they don't have the strength for one".

"Good to have you back".

"Good to be back".

At the craken world, Dan, Tom and Ken were sitting on a bench close to an open field, reminiscing about the day, they were about going to the human world, it never seems to get old for them as they kept on laughing at their failed attempt.

"We finally have some time together, how about we do the spar we talked about that day, what do you guys think" asked Dan.

"I don't see a reason why not" replied Ken. 

"what about you Tom" asked Dan.

"Also didn't see any reason to decline".

"So how are we going to do it, a one on one spar or we should attack each other randomly, the last person standing wins" suggested Dan.

"I think the latter is better because if it's a one on one fight, the winner of the first fight will be in a disadvantage on the second round" said Tom.

"True, let's start now because I have something to do later" said Ken while standing up and walking to the open field, Dan and Tom followed. When they have gotten to the middle of the field, they all took their stand.

"In the count of three, one, two, three, attack" shouted Ken.

Dan Immediately raise his hands up and activate his barrier, he send it to both of them at the same time, Ken raise the earth underneath his feet and sending fire off at the barrier, immediately breaking it.

Tom immediately jump out of the way when he felt the barrier coming his way, he quickly produce a ball of light and throw it with force to the direction of Dan. When Dan saw the condense ball of light heading his way, he quickly moved to his right, but when the ball of light was about passing him, it exploded and shine brightly, affecting Dan eyesight.

Ken seeing that Tom was focusing on Dan, he quickly send a big solid rock to Tom direction. Tom was quick enough to get out of the way, but the moment he dodge the first attack, another rock hit him on his chest, sending him flying some distance.

Dan wasn't left out either, as a rock hit him so hard as he was trying to adjust his eyesight, he quickly used his barrier to barricade himself to avoid colliding with the ground. His eyes sight has nearly gone back to normal, after some little adjustment he came out of the barrier and started firing barrier, one after another, making it hard for both of them to dodge it.

After about forty minutes of fighting, their energy pool has drastically change, they were now low on energy, but they still wasn't any winner yet. Dan seeing that they won't be able to dodge his attack, as they were already exhausted, manage to caught both of them together in his barrier.

With the last of his energy, he started compressing the barrier, Ken and Tom quickly started hitting the barrier in a desperate attempt to destroy it, but to no avail.

Their energy pool was just too low to produce a strong attack which can break through the barrier. Seeing as they couldn't break the barrier, they quickly raise their hands as a sign of giving up. Dan quickly let go of them and fall down on the hard ground.

"I won, I totally won, I beat both of you" said Dan completely out of breath, Tom and Ken couldn't say anything because they were just exhausted to talk.
