Sacrifice

Out of everyone currently present in the group, Oscar was the only person who was in the worst shape of condition physically, he might be considered out of this fight for now.

His back was badly injured and blood could be seen flowing out of it profusely. As a good leader he is, he didn't hesitate to sacrifice himself for his subordinate as he Puch him out of the way causing the attack to hit his back.

Right now, the five leaders were all in one place, they no longer care about the feud between each other as they were thinking of a way to kill a common enemy.

"Those things aren't human, I never once saw any emotion in their eyes, the fact they are taking another's life didn't bother them" said one of the men.

The whole of the kingdom was currently filled with the dead bodies of human, the most gruesome sight of all what that nor of them seem to have a complete body, some of their arms were ripped off, legs, head and various part of the body.

"Was the news not clear enough, find a quicker way to die not survive" said one of the encranoes as he spotted them and was about to burn them to crisp.

But before he could send out his flame, his head was cleanly sliced off from his head.

On seeing this, all the leaders and their people were all shock ad they were surprised to see the head of the man roll off from his head without being attacked.

Just some seconds after the man fall to the ground dead, they all could see someone standing at the back of him.

On closer inspection, Oscar quickly recognize who had just save them from being killed.

"Savarus?, but how?" asked Oscar in disbelief, he managed to stand up despite the injury on his back.

The speed Savarus used in killing the encranoe was something no human can achieve, they didn't even see what happened, just a little blur before seeing the enemy head rolling off.

"Oscar just find a place to hide, leave everything to me and don't come out" said Savarus as he turned back to leave.

"Isn't that the man who married your daughter not too long ago?" asked Margaret.

"Yes be is" said Oscar in disbelief, although he do know that Savarus was strong but never in his life would he had imagine that he was this strong.

"Shouldn't we follow him so we can help him to kill the others?" asked Brian.

"No, listen to him and leave everything, let's try our best to save those who are still alive" said Oscar as he force himself to walk so he could check if anyone was still alive amidst the chaos, but he wasn't able to move five steps before falling down.

In the king castle, every guard was giving everything they have just to try and take down the two encranoes who were currently attacking the castle.

The castle like building couldn't be called a castle anymore as the whole of the building was now destroyed into nothing.

Hendrick and Selvester were doing a nice job in protecting the king as they were currently on the run, knowing as they wouldn't be able to defeat the two encranoes in front of them, they were willing to sacrifice the life of countless guards just to ensure the king safety.

Even with thousands of guards being in the front fighting, they still wasn't able to escape as the two encranoes was now in front of them after killing what seems like an endless sea of guards.

"A king running for his life, well that's my first time seeing such" said one of the encranoe as he teleported to the back of Selvester before giving him a kick to the face which sent him flying some meters away.

On looking at Selvester, they couldn't recognize him anymore as his head was completely blown off from his shoulders.

The other encranoe just raise his hand and the ground beneath Hendrick rise up in a form of spike, piercing through his heart before he could even move from his spot.

The king seeing what have happened to his two personal guards, couldn't move from his spot as he knew that there was no way for him to run as his life as finally come to an end.

"Just two more left" said Savarus as he look at the direction of the destroyed castle where he could sense the presence of the remaining two encranoes.

He pulled out his sword from the heart of the encranoe he just stab without showing any sympathy on his face as he quickly run towards the castle.

"I was expecting the king to at least put up a fight, didn't know he would die so easily" said the encranoe who have control over earth.

"Are you really that stupid, humans are frail things, just a little snap of the finger and they are gone, what's t...?" asked the other encranoe who was with him, but before he could complete his words, his fellow has fallen to the ground without a head.

As he turned to look at what happened, a powerful force smashed him to the ground. Before he could think of teleporting Savarus hold him while using his energy to dap the encranoe out of his power.

"The only reason you are not dead right now like your fellow is because I would be needing you" said Savarus as he raise the encranoe off the ground so he could look at him.

"You betrayer, why are you helping the humans?" asked the encranoe as he could clearly sense that Savarus was an encranoe like himself.

"I would be asking the questions here, all I want from you right now are answers and if you think otherwise then I don't have any problem with making you join your fellow right here" said Savarus as he start walking while holding the encranoe.

"What make you think I don't prefer dieing with them than betraying them?" asked the encranoe.
