| Stuck In The City

Before trying to catch a taxi, I headed to a small coffee shop next to the station and used their restroom. I also used the opportunity to get a cup of hot tea and then went further to scarf down three meat-filled small savory pies. Then, feeling much more human, I went outside to see if I could find a taxi.

The streets around the station were a nightmare. The traffic appeared to be at a complete standstill, and all the taxis looked occupied. It wasn't unexpected, given what happened with the trains, but it was still extremely annoying.

I began walking briskly in the hopes that I could get to a less trafficky location on foot. There was no point in getting into a car, only to crawl two blocks in two hours. Now that the plane was down, I needed to get to my handlers as quickly as possible.
