Chapter 30 : Start Of Inspection

Thorkell looking at Olivia started to speak

"So all the adventurers are gathered here right , will you guide me through the inspection or will you send someone and what of the ones who are not at the guild "

"Almost everyone are at the guild now some due to injuries are at hospitals or inside the City itself due to emergency cases , this file here is compiled with their information"

Olivia passed one huge and another small file to Thorkell and spoke

"The larger one contains all the adventurer's details the smaller one has the details about adventurers who joined this year"

Thorkell passed one file to Thomas and both started to glance through them and he spoke

"Thank you Miss Livinion , I will continue to go check all the adventurers now I expect the guild officials to help and I would like to offer the exceptional ones a job offer although it's in their freedom to choose . The three women will continue to discuss with you and inspect the other two here . Thomas lets go down and check them "

Olivia nodded as Thomas and Thorkell left and only six of them remaining in the room . Olivia looking at the three women spoke

"How may I help you three ?" Rebecca looking at Olivia spoke

"It would be great if you could guide Aurora in Water magic control as we've heard a lot about your precision and control of the magic , She is Expert Rank now and will most likely could get help of all your tips" Olivia shivered in shock and asked

"Expert Rank!?"

"Yes"

"Miss Reyes I may be coming out as rude but how old is Aurora" With a little smile Aurora looking at Olivia spoke

"Just 23 nothing more , nothing less get it" as Aurora started to speak her suppressed aura started to speak this time Elaine and Rebecca noticed this and as they looked at the others they could see Olivia and Liam shiver ,and Liam also started to sweat profusely but Cain wasn't effected at all he was just standing there looking down without any reaction . Olivia interrupting their thoughts

"Yeah , I was just surprised with such raw talent to achieve Expert Rank such a young age , as far as I've heard even there are very few of the children of Primordials who achieve this rank at a such a young age" Rebecca interjecting

"Well , even I can sense the young men behind you are extremely talented "

"Yes , my disciple was requesting whether he would be able to have an opportunity to spar with other Expert ranks as till now he has only seen me . I also want him to expand his Knowledge I can also see Miss Aurora's battle style and control and give tips based on them and help her improve"

"Hmm , it's not my decision to make Aurora what do you think" Aurora then started to look at Liam who was looking down to the floor , she felt he was good but only like most the above average people she felt he was 'B' rank getting closer to 'A' rank . When she started to look at Cain she could feel his rank to be 'C' but she started to smile and spoke

"Fine , any of these two can spar with the blonde guy , I'll spar with Cain" Cain little shocked in a frightened voice spoke

"Lady Aurora , I'm a very weak adventurer compared to you and would not be able to entertain you with a good fight . I'm afraid that I won't be able to move in fear" Aurora still looked at him with a smile as Rebecca spoke

"Don't worry Cain , she can hold back . And also this can be considered as inspecting you all what do you think Miss Livinion"

"Yes ,of course we can move to the training facility below to continue . You all can head there a official will be next to the door if you ask him he'll lead you there these three will come out there after they get into their gear"

All of the three got up and moved out of the office and started to head towards the training facility with the guide.

As they left Cain in anger spoke to Olivia

"Why did you aske for a spar are you out of your damn mind !?"

"Well didn't here the reason and use your head , get yourself injured on purpose and get out of the game It'll be helpful to you too."

"But.."Liam interjecting him spoke

"Don't be a scared bitch , go fight they won't kill you"Cain was angry at Liam but stopped and spoke

"Thank you Liam"

"What!?" Liam and Olivia spoke in unison.

"Hey Cain is something wrong with your head ? Fuck it , just change into your battle ware and lets not make them wait"

The three women as they were waiting at the training facility as Elaine spoke

"Now that I observed him , he is strange though i could feel he was weak it was like it was unnatural and when Aurora's aura started to leak he is the only one who didn't show any reaction" Rebecca continued as

"Aurora is it safe for you to fight him ? I feel he is dangerous ,we can fight him"

"No need to worry , he won't hurt me I'm sure of it "

"Huh"

As they were speaking Cain , Liam and Olivia arrived . There wasn't much change except , Liam was wearing a large long coat and had a huge staff with him while Cain wore normal armor with a weak looking sword.

Rebecca came unto them and spoke

"So let first match be between Liam and Elaine , since you're both mages there will be a little leeway for Liam and if I spar with you I wont be able to properly test you as you're physically very weak"

Liam a little offended spoke

"Fine"

Liam and Elaine both entered the arena as the other four were seated in the seating area but instead of looking at the match which was about to begin she was indifferently staring at Cain.

Cain ignored it and acted as he was about to die , shivering and sweating while looking at this Aurora started to smile more as she looked at him .

In the arena Elaine indifferently spoke

"Let's get this over with , i guess 5 minutes . HEY!! blondie you can attack first "

Liam hearing this was angry as no one treated him like this before ,but he knew there too many people stronger than him and calmed down and spoke

"I will"

Liam started to concentrate the ground below started to become wet but not noticeably as he spoke

"Waves"

Huge waves formed ahead of him and rushed towards Elaine she jumped and evaded it as spikes of water was shot at her . She concentrated mana in her palm and deflected them and she landed on the ground which was now covered with water.

She had a indifferent look on her face as she landed when she landed Liam smiled a little and uttered

"Sink"

The ground below her started to latch on to her and drag her down she was slightly irritated as she looked at Liam who was charging a huge spell as he was chanting , it was in shape of a simple cone with the pointed towards her , but the water was highly compressed and swirled around like a tornado . If she was directly hit by that she would definitely get injured . She couldn't get herself out as Liam shot the attack and he kneeled as he shot

Elaine was now irritated but acknowledged him that he would grow strong waving her hand lightly she uttered

"Lightning slash"

A huge slash of lightning generated from her raced to Liam's attack as it contacted Liam's attack the huge water attack burst into smaller water arrow shots but was vaporized and just before reaching Liam it stopped and vanished.

Liam was defeated as he knew if this hit him this would definitely paralyze him or in the worst case would've killed him , he got up with support of his staff and bowed slightly towards Elaine who was getting out of the suction sink hole he had made and spoke

"Thank you Ms. Volt , With this i was able to gain valuable experience I'm truly grateful"

Cain rushed to support Liam as he was ordered by Olivia to support him . Looking at them Elaine spoke

"Hey Blondie for a human you're strong , you'll likely be stronger than your master don't be depressed all right . Except people who are prodigal monsters even A ranks are no match for Expert Ranks"

As Cain was supporting him Liam spoke

"Thank you Ms. Volt . I will keep that in mind " soon Elaine within a snap was at the seating area .Liam Then looked at Cain and spoke

"I don't know how strong you are but fighting a direct descendant of a primordial is something only few people get a chance to don't waste it"

Cain looked at Liam in surprise but remained silent and took Liam and helped him sit next to Olivia .

Next was Cain's match he was ready to put the best performance of his life , but something unexpected happened .
