Raid on Hachinosu (4)

Looking at the battlefield, Ashen and Mesagi looked in a bad state, they have suffered serious injuries while signs of exhaustion was apparent on their faces. On the other hand, Wang Zhi was still full of energy even after taking Ashen's last punch which was able to defeat Don Chinjao with ease.

*Clang*-*Clang*-*Clang* as the three of them clashed swords, Ashen realized that Wang Zhi was able to overpower them with ease without even using his devil fruit power. It's like he was fighting little children.

"Huff…It doesn't make any sense…Even if his Haki hardening is stronger than ours, he shouldn't be able to toss us around like little children" Mesagi pointed out while he was breathing heavily.

"If that's the case, then I'll coat my entire body with intense flames and see if he can withstand it without burning his limbs!" Ashen declared as he started releasing fire intensely, before he coated his entire body with a thick layer of fire 'This is going to be extremely taxing on my stamina, but I have no choice'

Ashen's body was completely encased in a blazing aura that illuminated the darkness around him. The flickering flames danced and licked at the air, casting an eerie glow on everything in sight.

As he approached, the sound of crackling fire filled the air, accompanied by the faint scent of singed wood. The fiery armor that coated his body was like a second skin, providing both protection and a fearsome spectacle to any onlooker.

With each step, the fire flared up, sending sparks and embers cascading down around him. It was as if the very air around him was alive with the heat of his power.

Despite the obvious danger of being so close to a raging inferno, there was something mesmerizing about his presence. The way the flames seemed to dance and twist around him, as if they were under his command, was both awe-inspiring and terrifying

"What a spectacular display of power" Wang Zhi said while calmly looking at Ashen, but he didn't seem to be bothered or concerned at all "But…Bold of you to assume that I can't hit just because of that!" He said as he stretched his palm forward and released a powerful Haki burst towards him, sending flying a few meters back.

*BAM*

"Hey, what the hell happened?!" Mesagi looked shocked seeing that.

"I had some doubts, but now I'm sure of it…You can use Advanced Armament Haki" Ashen stated while looking tensely at him, Wang Zhi is a step above using just normal hardening, as he can emit his Haki outside his body, or he can make it flow around his weapon allowing him to hit opponents without touching, 'but he still can't use eternal destruction by the look of it' Ashen thought.

"And what about it?...You think you can use it that easily?" Wang Zhi asked in a serious tone of voice.

"What if I do?" Ashen said with a grin.

"How?...Pull it out of your ass?" Wang Zhi said while swinging his weapon at their direction "Stop daydreaming you fucking brat and go to sleep!"

*BAAM* Ashen dodged his attack, before he started laughing his ass off mid-air.

"Hahahahahaha!!...Holy shit! I don't know why that made me laugh this hard!" Ashen exclaimed as he wiped tears from his eyes "I guess I didn't expect such an answer from you".

"Hey, beat it demon! It's not the right time for that!" Mesagi said looking annoyed.

"I know, I'm very serious right now…Take this you motherfucker!" Ashen suddenly punch the air without a notice as hard as he can, cracking it while causing a massive shockwave that destroyed the whole ground below him, before flames were shot from the said hand as a dense fire column towards Wang Zhi.

*Crack*-*BOOOOM* Wang Zhi looked disoriented for a second which gave Ashen and Mesagi the opportunity to attack at once.

They both combined their powers to create a massive storm of fiery lightning bolts. Mesagi first formed thick clouds overhead, while Ashen channeled his flames into it. As the clouds became saturated with the flames, the two of them released a massive surge of electricity, sending down bolts of fiery lightning that obliterated everything in their path.

The result is a devastating combination attack that leaved behind a smoldering, smoking landscape, with nothing but destruction. The sheer power and force of the attack was able to damage even the Wang Zhi himself. Luckily for him he reacted sooner after that and used his time bubble around him to slow down the attacks and avoided them with ease.

But the two pirate captains didn't leave him the opportunity to recover and attacked him once again. Ashen was still wearing his fire armor while imbuing his sword with haki and fire.

Without even waiting, Ashen proceeded to send a shockwave in an attempt to shatter Wang Zhi's time bubble as soon as he releases it, but the latter saw through him.

"*smile*…underestimating me is a mistake that will soon prove to be very fatal"

"Shit! Hey blondie get back h-!!!!"

"Now, time to finish this" without wasting any time, Wang Zhi thrusted his sword towards Mesagi, stabbing him in the stomach.

"AGHH!!!-" Taking that hit, Mesagi immediately lost conscious while throwing a mouthful of blood. Wang Zhi quickly turned to Ashen after that and did the same.

"Phew!...It's been a long time since I took some beating!" Wang Zhi gazed at the unconscious bodies of the two young pirate captains who were drowning in their blood, before he became furious and kicked Ashen away "Fucking Bastards! Now I have to rebuild the entire place because of you!"

Just as Wang Zhi turned his head away from him for a moment, a strong burst of energy was released from Ashen's body and was sent across the whole battlefield.

"Haoshoku…Haki" Wang Zhi looked both surprised and irritated at the same "Why does someone like you have it?...Forget it, I'll cut your head off immediately"

"Why? Are you jealous?" Ashen managed to regain his conscious again while slowly trying to stand up "Thanks for the kick, the pain helped me to wake up"

"You're so persistent kid…If you push yourself with that kind of injury you'll die"

"Stop acting like you care" he replied while barely able to stand.

"Have it your way, but what are you going to do know that your buddy is defeated?"

"I intended to fight you head on from the start" Ashen said calmly while wiping the blood from his mouth "Prepare yourself…The future pirate king is back again"

Somewhere on the island,

The fight between Calvin and Mike was starting to heat up, as the latter finally revealed his devil fruit power, transforming into a giant hybrid black werewolf. His sharp hard claw where strong enough to destroy an iron sword with a single grip, and Mike can further increase their strength by hardening them with Haki.

His immense physical strength and durability that his zoan fruit gives him were giving Calvin a very hard time, but he was still faster than him.

*BANG*-*BANG* As the two of them clashed, Calvin was using his high speed and friction of vibration around his arm to ignite it with fire while emitting a shockwave from his knuckles.

"You're very strong for someone who doesn't have a devil fruit power" Mike stated looking at Calvin in respect "How about you join us? it's better than being with that soon to be dead brat"

"Save that bullshit to yourself…" Calvin replied while gazing at Mike, before he launched at himself at a high-speed using a combination of Soru and a shockwave from his feet.

"And you're paying a hefty price for disrespecting the captain!" he declared in menacing tone of voice, while appearing behind him.
