Final Showdown: Ashen VS Wang Zhi

Ashen stood thoroughly on his place covered in flames while gazing at Wang Zhi.

"You have earned my respect kid…Ashen 'Demon of The Sea', I will give you an honorable death" Wang Zhi said gripping his sword with two hands.

Ashen quickly transformed his legs into flames to move at a high speed while using Soru and propelling himself forward with a shockwave from his feet.

*SWOOOSH* Ashen disappeared in a blink of an eye before he appeared again near Wang Zhi. The latter tried to create a Time Bubble but Ashen saw through him and sent a shockwave from his left hand, shattering it before it traps him.

*Crack*-*BOOOM* After that he quickly held his sword with both hands and started focusing his flames into the tip of his sword, creating a powerful fireball that crackles with intense heat, and then he allowed his Haki to flow around it, imbuing it and enhancing its power and destructive potential.

After that, he charged at Wang Zhi again while swinging his sword and releasing the fireball in a powerful blast of flames and haki energy.

*BOOOOM* Wang Zhi managed to block it, but the blast threw him away.

Ashen didn't stop there and started blasting him again with the same move.

This time Wang Zhi used his time fruit to either leap forward or backward in time, allowing him to escape or attack at a different moment. He proceeded to avoid Ashen attacks before he attacked him from different angles.

"Don't think you can defeat that easily!"

*Crack* Ashen cracked the air sending a powerful shockwave, but this time he let his Haki flow out of his hand and emitting it towards Wang Zhi at the same time, unleashing an invisible burst with the power of his punch, further increasing the destruction power of the shock wave.

Wang Zhi tried to force his way through, but it ended in a stalemate before Ashen unleashed series of fast compressed beams of heat from his palm.

Wang Zhi proceeded to quickly shift the time slightly around him causing Ashen's attacks to either miss or hit something else entirely.

The fight continued for what it felt like hours, with his new power ups Ashen was finally able to hold his ground against Wang Zhi. With every punch and sword slash, Ashen was having his Haki flow into his limbs and weapon exerting more power. But unfortunately for him he was getting weaker by the minute, as he was losing so much blood from his open wounds, he was barely holding up.

'I feel like I'm goi-!!!' Just as he was going to collapse, he quickly punched his open wound as hard as he can "AGGHHH!!!...Huff…Huff…The pain is going to keep me conscious!"

'I can't keep this up anymore, I'll have to use everything I have in order to end this quickly' Ashen gripped his sword firmly with both hands before he got ready to attack again.

"It seems that you are reaching your limit" Wang Zhi stated, he wasn't looking good either as he received a lot of injuries and burns from their fight "You've done well coming this far, you're the first if I'm being honest…It's been a while since I felt the thrill of battle".

"Don't worry, I Ain't collapsing until I finish you" Ashen said with deep tone voice, he had a determined expression, his whole body was covered in flames illuminating the darkness around him. With each step he took, he melted the ground beneath him.

Near the battlefield, Mesagi who was unconscious for hours finally opened his eyes. He watched the fight from a distance while barely able to move a muscle in his body.

Ashen and Wang Zhi stood thoroughly in their places without uttering a word, while gazing each other before a rush of air broke the silence. Ashen clenched his fist and then sent a shockwave splitting the ground in front of him, forcing Wang Zhi to step aside.

"I will support you on this one! Demon!" Mesagi shouted as he stretched his arm while still laying on the ground "I will use the little strength I have to create an opportunity" he muttered to himself before he proceeded to create a giant lightning cloud above the battlefield.

When Ashen saw that he quickly channeled his flames into it, mixing it with the lightning inside before a series of powerful fiery lightning bolts struck down Wang Zhi. The latter was taken by surprise and the attack left him vulnerable.

"You were awake?!" Wang Zhi looked at Mesagi's direction in shock while groaning in pain.

*Splash* Ashen used the opening and slashed Wang Zhi across the chest, leave a wide cute before he proceeded to punch him with an uppercut sending him flying upwards.

Wang Zhi looked shaken while falling, but Ashen quickly grabbed him from behind and flew upwards, he unleashed all his flames to create a massive blast in the air.

"Plus Ultra…Prominence BUUUURN!"

*BOOOOOM* The blast illuminated the entire island, taking the attention of everyone.

"That's…Ashen" Calvin was looking at the sky with a smile.

"The captain is going all out" Enel exclaimed.

"We shouldn't fall behind…We need to finish these guys quickly!" Urouge said with a smile, while both of them were facing Wang Zhi's commanders.

"Damn it! The captain is having so much fun out there, while I'm fight this creepy bastard!" Ian looked at his opponent in frustration while gripping his metal bat firmly "You're paying up for that…I'll beat you up really good!" He said with a wicked smile as he charged at his opponent.

"Yahohoho! I'm glad he's on our side!" Don Chinjao said following Ian.

After Ashen's attack Wang Zhi looked in a bad stated as the flames managed to deal a lot of damage to him. Ashen didn't stop right there, while mid-air he proceeded to use his Inferno Jet Step to propel himself towards Wang Zhi who was falling.

He channeled intense flames into his sword while flowing his Haki into it.

"WRAAAAA!!!" As he was flying down slashing his sword diagonally at Wang Zhi, he unconsciously released his Conquerors Haki, fusing it with his attack on top of his Armament Haki, generating a thick black lightning.

"AGHHHH!!!-" Wang Zhi screamed in pain as he received the attack, before his eyes rolled back and fell on the ground drowning in his blood.

Mesagi who was watching closely was left in a complete shock "He didn't touch him!"

*BAM* Ashen proceeded to land beside Wang Zhi's body.

"Huff…Huff…I used all my might on that attack!" He exclaimed before he took a closer look at Wang Zhi to see if he's still conscious "Phew!...You were the strongest opponent I have faced so far" He said thrusting his weapon at his heart.

*Splash*

"Is he dead?" Mesagi asked from a distance.

"Yeah" Ashen calmly responded before he walked towards him, grabbed him from the back collar and started dragging him towards the skull building.

"What are you doing?"

"The battle is still going. Someone might take the opportunity to kill you while you're laying outside"

Ashen proceeded to enter the large building before he collapsed after that immediately.

"Hey, since you have been of a great help, I'll give you 10% more, that's 30% so don't try anything funny after the battle" Ashen said while lying face down on the ground.

"Are you trying to bribe me?...Hehehehe!…Using money isn't going to work on me, I told I always appreciate a little chaos" He replied.

"You don't care about money? Aren't you a pirate?"

"You think that I risked my life in this fight for a little money? Well, I might as well call myself a treasure hunter instead"

"Why did you do it then?"

"Pirates are the rulers of the sea, you got to prove yourself by fighting the strongest"
