Calvin VS King

"Let me ride on your ship, I also want to explore the world just like Oden!" Yamato asked Ashen in excitement.

"Huh?!" x2

"Hoi Kaido, did you accidently hit her head too hard?" Ashen asked, taken aback by the sudden request.

"It seems to be the case" Kaido replied while glaring at Yamato.

"If you're planning to beat father then let me join your side, I'm strong enough to fight as well!" She said while holding her giant Kanabō 'Takeru'.

"Don't be dumb, there's no way I'll let a hot-headed kid like you join…Besides aren't you like 12 or something? You should step aside before you get hurt" Ashen told her, while gesturing with his hand for her to move away. Ashen knew how strong she would be in the future, but right now she's just a kid.

"Enough with this nonsense you're interrupting the fun!" Kaido said as quickly turned back to Ashen while swinging his Haki-Coated weapon towards him, he also channeled his lightning for extra power.

Ashen met the attack head on, using his fiery sword to parry it before he summoned his flames into his left hand, compressing them into a small fireball no bigger than his palm, and then threw it at Kaido, causing a massive explosion.

"Damn it!" Yamato was blown away again by shock caused by their clash.

"Yamato!...Stop interrupting Kaido-sama!" another kid showed up behind Yamato, he's around the same age as her. A Fishe-Man boy, extremely tall for his age, with pale skin, blonde hair and a pair of horns on each side of his head.

He's Jack, he was holding two blades. Although he is still young, around 12 years old he was already a member of the Beasts Pirates, in fact he was present when Kaido first invaded Wano.

"Tsk…Jack, don't get in the way"

On the same battlefield Calvin and King fight was reaching its peak as both first mates were going all out.

Calvin still haven't figured out King's fire mechanism, when the fire in King's back goes out his speed increases but his durability drops greatly, on the hand if the fire in his back is ignited his durability increases back to normal and it's almost impossible to hurt him.

So, in order to hurt him there are only two options, first one is to take advantage of the flame mechanism and attack King when the flames in his back goes out, or if someone is strong enough to use Advanced Armament Haki / Internal Destruction he can bypass that defense and cause internal damage instead.

'I'm pretty sure of it now, this guy must be of some special race or something…It only makes sense, since even Big Mom didn't have this kind of durability' Calvin thought to himself as he wiped the blood from his mouth, he cracked a smile after that his face lit up from excitement 'If even Conqueror's infusion didn't work on him then I should probably try that…though I don't think I might be able to pull it off right away'

"This is getting much more fun" Calvin said while smiling manically, he might not look like it since he always wears the calm attitude, but he was always a battle maniac since he first joined Ashen.

"Both the captain and the vice-captain are battle maniacs, I'll make that smile fade away" King said as he channeled his flames into his giant sword, before the flames in his back went out and he proceeded to dash towards Calvin at a blinding speed, delivering powerful sword slash.

Seeing that, Calvin punched the sword while emitting a shockwave to parry the attack.

After hardening his hand with Armament Haki and infusing it with Conqueror's Haki, he quickly jumped in the air and grabbed King's face and slammed him downwards, shattering the ground below.

"Void Shatter!!"

Without giving King the time to recover, Calvin immediately jumped in the air, igniting his fists with fire using friction while using Advanced Armament Haki and infusing himself with Conqueror's Haki, before he flew down with Soru and using his momentum to punch down King. The moment he was going to make contact he released a Hasshoken shockwave from his knuckles further increasing his damage.

"Ragnarok!!"

*BOOOOM* The moment Calvin's fist hit King, he coughed some blood while groaning with pain.

'Blood?!' Calvin noticed the blood coming from King's mask 'So he's not invincible after all'

"You--!!" King looked at Calvin in hostility before he got on his feet again and conjured a fireball over his open palm, then formed a fist to execute a powerful flame-clad punch.

"Andon!!"

The punch was directed at Calvin who had no choice but to cross his arms and block it. Fortunately, using emission the flames can't burn him, but he was still sent crashing into a boulder.

"Huff…Huff…even his size is making it harder to fight him" Calvin remarked, since King was 6 meters tall the former looked like a dwarf in front of him.

'Since Big Mom's fight I sparred with Ashen every day, he was trying to teach me how to use an advanced version of Armament Haki, even stronger than emission where you can destroy things from the inside' Calvin closed his eyes focusing and remembering the training with Ashen for the past few months 'You let the unused Haki to flow into your fist, and once you make contact with the enemy you let that Haki flow into him'

"You're losing focus in the middle of a fight!" King suddenly showed up in front of Calvin swinging his fiery sword, delivering a powerful diagonal slash.

Calvin was crushed down under the weight of King's massive sword, but after infusing his fist with Conqueror's Haki and punching King, he managed to send him flying away. The latter didn't take any damage again since the flames in his back were ignited.

"I was close, just a little more" Calvin muttered to himself while clenching his fist tightly.

"It's no use, you guys are not strong enough to take down Kaido-san!" King declared with confidence.

'The flames in his back disappeared? Don't tell me--' Just as Calvin noticed something, King was already in front of him.

Using Soru and a Hasshoken shockwave Calvin quickly propelled himself upwards, avoided King's sword slash.

"Shut up and go to sleep!" Calvin surprised King with a fast, powerful punch in the face that managed to do enough damage to crack his mask.

'I get it, when the flames in his back goes out his speed increases, but his durability decreases' Calvin thought, a knowing smile creeping into his face 'It's not actually a weakness since he gets a massive speed boost, but unfortunately for him I'm not that slow either'

"What's so funny?" King asked his face wore angry expressions, before half of his mask fell down revealing his white hair. King proceeded to remove the rest of the mask showing his face, he has a narrow red eyes, prominent dark eyebrows, a straight nose, prominent lips, and a square, stubbly chin. Circling halfway around his left eye, on its outer side, is a black tattoo resembling a laurel wreath or olive branch.

"Unforgivable!" King shouted as he launched bullet-like flame projectiles from a distance.

Calvin quickly dashed at him using his fists to redirect the flame projectiles before he let his Haki flow into his fist while infusing it with Conqueror's, and then sent a barrage of attacks.

Even though the flames on King's back were still ignited Calvin kept attacking without a stop and finished with a powerful right punch.

'Let the Haki flow into the opponent!' When that last punch made contact with King, Calvin's Haki flowed inside King bypassing his defense and causing internal damage.

"COUGH!!...What?!" King coughed blood while looking shocked, he couldn't believe he took damage from that last attack since the flames in his back were ignited and his defense was at its peak "What did you do?!"

"Twisting some organs that's all" Calvin replied with a smirk.

"Don't get ahead of yourself Calvin!" King shouted as he flew upwards, igniting his sword's blade and, from its tip, producing multiple large, whirling, serpentine dragons made of fire, dense enough that it looked like a dragon.

"Fire Dragon Emperor!" King sent the dragons flying against at Calvin.

"Is that King?!" Kaido looked surprised seeing King go all out.

"Hehehe, looks like your boy is going down" Ashen said.

Calvin used emission on his entire body to prevent the flames from burning him, while he punched his way through them implementing Hasshoken shockwaves to disperse the fire and destroy them, or Rankyaku's wind blades to cut them into pieces.

"Kaido-san is destined to become the king of pirates, no matter what you do it won't change that fact!" King declared as he charged at Calvin at a blinding speed, his sword leaving trail of fire behind him before he swung it with all of his might.

"I heard a lot of people saying those words and you know what happened to them?..." Calvin said as black and red lightning surged from his fist and he proceeded to deliver a massively powerful punch with shockwaves that encompassed a large radius.

*KA-BOOOM* The attack rendered King unconscious.

"…I sent them to hell!"

[While Calvin and King's battle ended in Calvin's victory, Moria and Queen's outcome was the complete opposite]
