Drums of Liberation

[New World – Marine HQ, New Marineford],

In the conference hall, there was a meeting with many Marine Officers after the recent events, and after the Marines learned about the Supernova invading Onigashima in Wano where the emperor Kaido resides. Sengoku was also present at the meeting, and they spoke about the growing threat of emperor Ashen as well.

"After Ashen and Shiki teamed up a few years back, we've been possibly seeing the world's worst pirate group" Sengoku stated, before he turned to Commodore Brannew who assigns bounties to criminal. He was standing near a video Den Den Mushi with a few Wanted Posters on his hands "Brannew! How much are their bounties now?"

"Right, yeah, we have to decide new bounties for those who were stripped of their title of Warlord, too" Brannew replied, then added "Let's go over all of their numbers" Brannew took the first Wanted Poster and held it in front the of the Den Den Mushi before it was displayed on the screen.

"Starting with Blackbeard who started to be called an Emperor of the Sea about a year ago…He recruited some powerful subordinates when he raided Impel Down two years ago, he's still extending his influence taking Whitebeard's place!"

"The Commodore of the Blackbeard Pirates, Marshall D. Teech!...ß 2,350,700,000 --" The Marine Officer present were taking aback by that bounty.

"Next up, he has been an Emperor of the Sea for ten years…He's the youngest of the four and deeply trusted by his subordinates…Beckman, Roux, Yasopp, his top officers gained notoriety individually"

"The Chief of the Red-Hair Pirates, Red-Hair Shanks!...ß 4,250,900,000 --"

"Next is…He's a natural born beast who managed to earn the respect of vicious pirates by his strength alone and ended up being called an Emperor of the Sea!"

"The Supreme Commander of The Animal Kingdom Pirates, King of the Beasts Kaido!...ß 4,611,600,000 --" Brannew said, as he took the next Wanted Poster.

"And in the start of the Great Age of Pirates, he was just rookie from East Blue, but he managed to quickly rise up in the ranks and became the youngest person to ever become an Emperor after defeating the Big Mom Pirates…He's labeled as the worst pirate alive with his group boasting the highest average bounty…"

"The Warlord of the Ashen Pirates, Demon of the Sea Ashen!...ß 4,975,900,000 --"

"I feel depressed…" Everyone was shocked at these bounty reveals.

"By the decision at the Levely, we can't deploy the Seven Warlords to fight these Emperors anymore!...Whether removing the poison was correct or not…It's up to how well SSG, the Navy's Special Science Group, preforms" Brannew stated while still holding three more Wanted Posters "For your reference, here are the bounties of other legendary figures!"

"The Chief of the Golden Lion Pirates, Golden Lion Shiki!...ß 4,355,000,000 --"

"The Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, Edward Newgate!...ß 5,046,000,000 --"

"The Captain of Roger Pirates, The King of Pirates Gold Roger!...ß 5,564,800,000 --"

…

Meanwhile in Wano Kuni, the Raid on Onigashima was getting heated as a few notable figures showed up, the previous Whitebeard commanders Marco the Phoenix and Izou as well as one of the Ashen Pirates tops commanders, Yamato, the son of Kaido himself. Ashen knows her personality and allowed her to join the raid in the condition of not making friends to any of the pirates in the Alliance since they'll be their enemies afterward and getting attached to them would be a bad idea.

Of course, if the raid failed, Ashen was going to attack Kaido right after that and take him down, since he would be severely weakened.

Each one of the Supernova captains and their crew fought a higher-ranking member of the Beasts Pirates. With Luffy making it to the Rooftop along with Yamato who took down Ulti and they proceeded to fight Kaido together. Eustass Kid fought and defeated an All-Stars Jack with the support of the Minks, Trafalgar Law defeated Scratchmen Appo while Emma Helios fought and defeat an All-Stars Storm Bringer Mesagi before the three of them joined Luffy and the rest at the rooftop later in the raid.

As for X Drake he changed sides early on the raid.

Using his newly acquired sword Enma, Zoro fought an All-Star King and after a hard-fought battle he managed to unlock Conqueror's Coating while finding King's weakness, defeating him at last while cutting one of his wings as well. (Some people are going to say Zoro doesn't have Shusui to trade it for Enma, but I believe Hiyori was going to give it to him regardless, since the sword in her hand would be useless, she most likely came to conclusion that her father Oden, entrusted her with the sword with the idea that either she'd wield it, keep it, or give it to a notable warrior to carry on his dream, which she did. Plus, I think it's the least thing she could do for someone who is about to free her country)

Sanji fought an All-Star Queen the Plague, and after unlocking his Germa genes and getting superhuman physical strength, enhanced durability and increased healing rate along with other power ups, Sanji defeated his enemy as well.

Killer fought a fellow Worst Generation Basil Hawkins who took Kid's body as a hostage, the former eventually found a weak point in Hawkins ability where he cut his arm since Kid doesn't have one.

As for Emma's crew, Kuro and Gin fought against Page One While Desire held off Sasaki until the two of them defeat their opponent before they joined hands with her and the three of them took down Sasaki after that.

Nico Robin and Jinbe also fought Black Maria and Who's-Who and the fight ended with the victory of the former two.

Eventually the four captains, Luffy, Kid, Law, Emma joined hands afterwards and fought Kaido. Unfortunately, even the four of them didn't stand a chance and they were knocked out one by one, with Yamato stalling Kaido until Luffy regained his conscious.

Each time Luffy was knocked down, he learned something new that helped him fight Kaido, Advanced Armament Haki / Ryou and Conqueror's coating until he was knocked down for the fourth time when a CP 0 agent sneaked on him and was presumably dead when his heart stopped beating. Of course, Luffy and Kaido were fighting one on one this time as the other captains were either unconscious or not in a condition to fight.

Kaido immediately killed the CP 0 agent who did it, he was angry that Luffy was knocked down that way, it reminded him of his fight with Oden.

A few minutes later,

"Strawhat-ya…" Law was shocked, seeing Luffy's motionless body on the ground and covered in blood.

"Is he dead?" Kid asked, both him and Law were barely able to move.

"I can't believe that there is no way Luffy would die just like that" Emma said while wiping the blood from her face, as she's barely keeping her conscious.

"Those damn government agents hiding around like rats…" Kaido said in anger while still in his Hybrid form, he observed Luffy's body with frustration as he wanted to fight him more.

*BA-BUMP*

"…" There was a moment of silence in the rooftop before Luffy's heart slowly started beating again taking on a musical rhythm.

"Momonosuke! I can hear it!!" Zunesha declared while approaching the land of Wano.

"Huh?!" Momonosuke who was in his pink dragon form was confused at her words.

"The drums of liberation from 800 years ago!"

"What is it?" Momonosuke questioned.

"This melody can only mean one thing!...He is here!!"

"Who is here?!"

"Joy Boy!!"

"What happened to me…? Why…can I still stand?" Luffy said with a sinister smile, his hair and clothes turned white, his eyes glow with red ring-like pupils, and white clouds floated around his neck. His eyebrows also became swirled and billowing. "I'm having FUN, for some reason…"

*Lightning*-*Lightning* A strong burst of Conqueror's Haki came off him, before he got on his feet and jumped to the sky

"Ahahahahahaha!!!" The shadow of his figure laughing hysterically could be scene against the moon.

I don't how you feel about writing a resume of the war like this, it feels like unnecessary to write about all these fights like it's just a drag.
