First day of training 2

On hearing the words of Stephen, Brian just let out a loud sigh as he decide to drop the topic. The fact that Kenny was only staying for a week made him feel at ease.

"How's everything going with the Hexis gang?" asked Brian as he sat on one of the chairs.

"I have sent some of our people to handle it, I don't think it's something to worry about" replied Stephen. "I want you to continue training the boy, I have a feeling that something great is going to come out of him".

"Something great my ass, he couldn't even pass a simple level one agility text" said Brian.

"Patient Brian, he will improve, go and continue training the boy" said Stephen as he turned to continue looking at the documents.

Brian didn't reply back as he just walked out of the office with only one destination in mind, the training ground.

When he got there, he could see Kenny resting on one of the bench at the corner of the room, he couldn't help but shake his head.

"Get your lazy ass up, let's go to the next text" said Brian as he approached him.

Kenny couldn't say anything when he heard the words of Brian, he just stood up and follow him as they walked to the next training ground.

"This time around, it would be a sparring match, you are going to spar against someone of your age so as to test your endurance" said Brian as he called one of their member who was training not too far from them.

The moment the boy walked towards them, he greeted Brian and stood by the side so as to hear what Brian want from him.

"Harry, you would be having a sparring match with Kenny over there, don't go easy on him" said Brian.

"Understood sir" replied Brian while turning to face Kenny.

Although the boy named Harry was the same age as him, but Kenny still couldn't help himself as he swallow a mouth full of saliva in fear because of the way Harry was currently standing. He was standing like someone who have perfected himself like a martial art master.

"At the count of three, get ready to attack, one, two, three, attack" said Brian who was standing at the side.

The moment Harry heard the signal, he quickly sprinted forward and throw a punch towards Kenny who manage to block it, but the moment he finished blocking the punch, he felt a powerful kick land on his leg which cause him to go off balance and fall to the ground.

Looking up, he could see a punch coming straight towards his face which he knew he wouldn't be able to dodge. The fear of the inevitable pain which he knew he would feel any seconds soon, made him close his eyes, but after waiting and still not feeling anything, he opened his eyes and could see that Harry stopped himself from delivering the blow which was just some few inches from his face.

"Why did you stop the fight, I didn't signal you to stop the fight" shouted Brian who was spectating the fight.

"I'm really sorry about that sir" said Harry as he withdraw his hand that was close to Kenny face before going down on his knees.

"This is an endurance text, if you don't deliver a blow then how will I be able to know what he can endure" shouted Brian.

"I will make sure it never happens again in the future" replied Harry as he keep his head down.

"Let's draw the curtain for now, we will continue in the evening" said Brian as he turned to walked away, but stopped after throwing two steps to look at them. "As from today onwards, Harry will be your sparring partner" said Brian as he walked away.

Harry was about to say something the moment he heard the words of Brian, but he swallowed it in as he know he wasn't in the position to speak out his opinion.

While the moment Kenny heard the words of Brian, he couldn't help but shiver and bite his lips for two reasons. One was that he still have to train in the evening even with all these he has just went through today and second was that Harry would be his sparring partner.

He clearly know he wasn't even half the level of Harry, so having him as a sparring partner was clearly asking for death.

Almost every part of his body was in pain as he couldn't raise them up properly. The blow from Harry which he blocked with his hand was making his hand ace in pain. Any slight moment with his hand was making it pain him the more.

After seeing that Brian was out of the hall, Kenny couldn't help himself but asked Harry the question which was on his mind.

"Why did you hesitate and didn't hit me?" asked Kenny as he look at him.

"Don't know what you are talking about, but just to advice you, don't ever think that will happen again" said Harry as he walked out of the training room.

Kenny didn't bother to press on with the matter, because he clearly know that Harry wasn't in a mood to talk right now, so he just raise himself and walked back to his room so as to get some sleep which he needed.

Before going to his room, he walked towards the bathroom, so as to shower first before going to his room.

Being a public bathroom for the whole of the gang, Kenny waited for close to thirty minutes before it got to his turn.

After finish taking his bath, he cleaned his body and wear his clothes before going back to his room so as to sleep.

It didn't take him two minutes after he lie on the bed before he fell asleep, the training he just went through wasn't something he has experience before, so the pain and everything made him completely exhausted.
