He is back!

Mrs. Cooper smiled after sending a text to Britney. She hoped that the dinner date could go on well considering the fact that they had known each other for too long. She was worried about her son and she had to talk to the Ellison's to let their daughter come back from Australia. It was hard enough for them to convince their daughter and she could not afford to lose his chance to make his son realize that she needed a woman. She received a call and it was n unknown number. She was hesitant but still wondered who could call her at such an uncalled for hour with an unknown number.

She picked the call and waited for the voice of the other person on the other line. They were all silent until the voice finally spoke. The voice shattered her. Her breathe suffocated her voice. She did not trust her voice to speak and her inner self was crying not in despair but fear that craved her nerves and when they finally got in, her muscles froze. She could not find her hands to cut the call.

"Allan, what do you want? I told you to stay away from me and my child," she finally spoke her voice trembling as if on ice.

"I will never allow that. To him, you're a dead man," she added after sometime and cut the call. She clenched her phone tightly and was almost suffocating. She tried to call the nanny but could not find her voice so she stretched to the intercom and dialed a number. Mrs. Martha came rushing to her and when she saw her state, she ran back for some water. She rushed back and handed her a glass of water.

"What's wrong Shannon? What happened? How come you look so pale?" Martha threw questions at her worried she might get sick again if everything went too far.

"He... He called nanny!" Mrs. Cooper stuttered but Martha could not understand what she was saying.

"Who called? Okay, calm down. Breathe in. Breathe out." Mrs. Cooper followed Martha's signals as she tried to calm down. How could she though?

"Allan called. He says he's coming back. He's been watching us all this time. He knows every move of my son and I. What should I do nanny? I've been doing everything to make my son happy. He doesn't know that his father is still alive. How can I tell him about what happened years ago?" Her heart was leaving her. She was hopeless and Martha could do no more than hug her. She had no solution to the problem but was till contemplating on the matter.

"Shannon, why don't you tell your son the truth. I think he'll understand. Basti is a good man who has a heart of gold. You have taught him well, you're his mother so he will understand," Martha said hoping the situation could be cooled off sooner.

"So my son could hate me? I can't bear the resentment nanny. It was enough that I had to heal from what Allan did to me and keep a good image of his father for him. If he knows who his father really is not to talk that he's still alive, I don't think he'll ever forgive me," a tear trickled down her face and Martha handed over some tissues to her. She was devastated but suddenly it hit her. Her son! She took out the phone to dial his number but couldn't reach him. He didn't pick up. She tried to reach him through the landline but still couldn't.

She stood and started pacing around the living room. He tried so hard to reach his son but couldn't. The fear that gripped her seemed worse than the catastrophe that had been awakened. She had to get his son back to the house as soon as possible before hell could break loose.

"Hey Nanny! Can you try calling Basti. He isn't picking my calls," Mrs. Cooper's fright was as visible as the ribs of a starving cow. Mrs. Martha could only help by trying to call Sebastian but the calls were now going to voicemail. She looked at Mrs. Cooper and that was enough to send her in complete despair. She fell down losing consciousness.

Sebastian and Britney were happy enjoying their dinner, they were busy chatting and catching up that he did not notice his phone ring. They discussed everything from when they were young playing in the yard and doing match making.

They were childhood sweethearts and their parents had arranged their marriage since then. Growing up, Britney had become so fond of Sebastian until she left to Australia. Her feelings had just been surpressed by the distance Sebastian had started creating between them. They were talking as friends, friends uniting after years of separation. Recreating a bond that seemed to not have broken. Or was it?

Natalie, from his position, watched two people not far from them laugh and talk casually like two lovebirds. It was a lovely sight but she felt disgusted by it. She could not explain how a happy scene like that made her feel enraged.

She tried to think of the last time she had such an intimate relationship but could not. Thinking of it, she had been too busy to even get involved in one. She understood her priorities and getting into relationships was not part of it.

"Earth to Natalie, " David snapped his fingers Infront of Natalie who was so lost in observing Sebastian and actually forgot he was beside her.

"Am all good. Can't I just get lost in the moment?" She said as she took her glass of cocktail and sipped just a bit of it. She had been doing that absently for a while and her glass of cocktail was almost empty.

"You mean getting lost in that guy. He's not worth your time, trust me," David said with disgust while looking at

Sebastian and Natalie felt that he did not like him at all. He glared at him for a while and for sometime she thought he would burn the man's soul if he really was given the powers to. David's expression was not of hate, but anger and deep down he was hurting. His scars were bleeding again as he watched the two of them have fun like nothing ever happened.

Sebastian and Britney decided that they were done for the night and it was already past 10pm. They however felt that they had a lot to talk about.

"Waiter!" Sebastian called so he could pay the bill and a waiter came at their table but as he was about to take us wallet, Britney handed over cash to the waiter who left afterwards.

"Why did you do that," Sebastian asked surprised.

"It's the least I can do after everything. We ended up on a wrong path but we're still here, talking. That's a good thing, right?" She asked as she stretched her hand to reach his. David could see her sincerity but still doubted yet he could not dare say it loud.

"We don't talk anymore you know. He never wanted to listen to my side of the story," his eyebrows frowned and his mood suddenly changed. Britney took back his hands and was now squeezing them under the table with lack of words to say.

Sebastian looked at her and saw that the conversation could not go farther so he decided to brush it off, "It's in the past though, I try not to think about it."

"Let's head home, my mum is waiting for me, she barely allowed me to come out because it is my first night here but when she heard it was you, she didn't dare to resist," they both stood and started walking out.

"Hey! Hey!" Natalie waved her hand in David's face and he looked away. "Don't tell me you know him?" she asked and he, with calmness, picked his glass of wine and drank all it's contents. "Whoa! Whoa! Take it easy!" Natalie was now standing to pat his back as he started coughing when she bumped into someone.

"Can't you watch where you're going!" Britney grunted harshly. David in his state turned to look and he saw Sebastian holding hands with Britney's they faced Natalie.

"I'm sorry Miss. I didn't mean to," Natalie said feeling embarrassed.

"Natalie, that's fine, come on," David said holding her hand so they could head out.

"Mr. Wilson, surely you cannot go without saying hi" Sebastian said her voice low but decisive.
