CURRENT, BUT ALIVE!

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom.

To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. - 2 Timothy 4:18 (NIV)

July 1986, an event in my life that brought me closer to the Lord. I was always seeking for His presence and that was the time of my first love for the Lord whereas as much as I was in love, I wished there was no waste of time thinking about Him and praising whatever I was doing. Every morning, when I opened my eyes, I walked straight to our living room where our cassette radio tape player was, I used to play my favorite praising songs every morning and I still sang along but that morning, the cassette player does not playing. I searched for the reason and removed the jack plug that plugged it into the side and to my great surprise there I unnoticeably touched a live-wire and it was currently plugged into the 220v and at that time, the power was blowing in my body that I could not bear it, trembling me, softening at least to ask for help, all I could do was think. It was at that moment that I sought God's help, and the thought of "In Jesus Name!" I suddenly lost my electricity and it was amazing because at that time the power doesn't lost in our area, in fact our lights in the living room and kitchen were open, it was obviously a miracle because I was still holding on the jack plug. Wow! Amazing! Even though I was weak sitting on the couch, I was delighted at that time. Perhaps it is so far-reaching, and I have so much purpose in this life that the help of the Lord is there. Praise be to God!

Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."- Exodus 14:13-14
