Demonic Beast.
"Hmm.." Seraphine suddenly looked at a certain direction.
'"I can feel a faint of demonic aura coming from that direction.."
'Let's go there" August said.
But before August went, he put on his newly-crafted armor.
After doing that he sprinted to that direction where the demonic aura came, while at the same time running past a few low level monsters.

A few minutes later, the faint demonic aura became detectable by August now.
"Why is there such thick demonic aura here..." Seraphine muttered quietly.
"It should be here somwhere." August suddenly muttered aswell.
"What here?" Seraphine asked who has good hearing.
"Hmm. A small cave." August absemtmindely and honestly replied, but it came out vaguely.
"Oh, I'll help you find that cave."
They searched for many minutes until the time reached one hour.
"Why is it so hard?!" Seraphine shouted.
"Hmm.. maybe its hidden?" August muttered.
He remembered someone flexing in the forums, that he saved the town chief's daughter and killed a dark mage who was doing a Demonic Ritual. He even spilled everything about the quest and rewards, including the locaction, how the girl looked and the mage.
Weird guy huh.
But from the story that guy wrote, he said he found a small cave in deeper parts of Ten Ton Mountain. But why couldn't two people, one being Mana's Favourite and a regresser who has years of knowledge, be compared to a random guy who show-offed his achievements.
Even August found it be a bit weird, but quickly thought of many reasons.
First, the quest was completed/flexed a week into the game. It has only been around two days since its release. Meaning that the quest was available after a week. This is only due to August's active searching and Seraphine's sense of Mana.
But that doesn't solve the problem about the demonic aura occuring in the Ten Ton Mountain.
While he was deep in his thoughts, a lurking danger was stalking him. Slowly, but surely closing the distance between them.
"!!!" A sudden attack came behind him.
August quickly swiftly dodged to side and saw a monster surronded by demonic aura, no that isn't aura anymore..

"Demonic Beast!" Seraphine shouted in disbelief.
Demonic Beast is the demonic version of a beast, be it wolf, bear or even chickens. They are mutated and evolved version of their predecessor. They use Demonic Mana instead of normal mana, like demons do.
August who saw the status screen got stunned for a second, but recovered rather quickly and used [Mana Manaplutation] on himself, [Mana Share] and [Divine Vault] to open a portal to make a connection to his already marked-sword.
He controlled his sword to fly towards the startled Shadow Wolf and slashed at it sideways.

Because his power boost he got from his Mana Manaplutation and the suprise attack coming from the flying sword. He easily got free damage. After that single strike, he slashed the sword again with his will.

One more attack to finish it... But something unexecpted happened after the second slash...
CRACK...

''...'' Both August and Seraphine stared at the broken sword that got split into two.
The Shadow Wolf who saw its chance, immediately pounced at August with sharp claws coated in demonic mana. August's Danger Sense alerted him of the danger, he then quickly raised his arms to block the attack and protect his vital parts.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Claw slash after slash came at August unprotected arms, but his newly-crafted armor saved him some HP.

August with his quick thinking, found the beastial attack pattern of the wolf. He dodged a few, but got a few times, he couldn't hit the wolf a single time through the entire exchange. When the Shadow Wolf saw its attack being dodged, it became raged and put even more demonic mana into his claws and slashed at him.
SWOOSH!
But August found the opening durning the brief pause of prepation. He quickly dodged and backed away. They stared at each other, golden eyes against dark-red eyes. Because the Shadow Wolf is now a demonic beast, it got the usual demonic red eyes.
Durning the standstill because both parties have lost a huge amount of health. He hastily check his Mana bar and breathed a sigh of relief, but when he saw his HP bar and almost got a heart-attack.

'This is too low HP to fight, if I only had some healing potions or something...' August thought.

'Wait, why is my HP slowly being healed!?' August thought in disbelief.
Then August suddenly thought of something, he stared at Seraphine who was sending green waves at him.
''Healing Magic!'' August said in his mind, but also used telepathy to Seraphine.
''Yes, but I can only heal you a little...'' Seraphine said, while looking a bit tired.
''Don't overdo it'' August reminded in his mind to her.
''Yes..''
He checked his HP bar and saw it nearing the sixty mark, then he looked at the wolf and saw that it had regeranted a third of it's HP.

'This is still not enough... I need more HP or power!'
'I have already used Mana Maniplutation on my body. I can't use it again...'
'Wait, not the entire body...The heart! The heart is the one who pumps blood to the entire body, the blood is the vitality of the body.'
'What if I hasten the heart... wouldn't I heal faster due to huge amount of blood being spread around my body. But won't I die by the sudden increase of heartrate, like heart-attack...'
'No, what if I control the speed of how fast my heart and blood is coursing through my veins..'
'But that's humanly impossible.. wait. No. My very existence is already humanly impossible...'
'Well, here goes nothing!' August thought in just a few seconds.
He closed his eyes and slowly, but patiently controlled the Mana in his body and guided low amount to where his heart is. The Shadow Wolf who saw him closing his eyes, became alerted, but ignored it because it thought that: No matter what you do, you can't win against absolute strength!
Yes, demonic beasts are extremely arrogant and prideful, they would never bow down to anyone or anything. This is one of the weaknesses of demonic beasts aswell demons that players have used, that are easy to prevent, but hard to stop.
This is why August would dare to close his eyes, because he already knew that it would rather wait and recover its HP and strength to finish him off in one strike.
Meanwhile inside August body..

The mana inside his very heart slowly increased its speed... The heart sped up its blood production, the blood spread his entire body in an fast speed, almost double the previous speed!

His vision focused, he could even see the smallest detail like a speck of dust. His brain worked faster than ever, his body felt more powerful.
This is the power of adrenaline, the very power humans have that made them more focused durning stressful situtations, like escaping from danger. Because August 'supercharged' his heart and blood, he created a situation where his blood triggered his hormones that made his brain faster. Which in turn made him even more focused and drew every hint of power hidden inside his power to full potential.
August opened his eyelids revealing his golden-eyes and quickly dashed at the suprised wolf. He took a sharp fang from his inventory and opened a portal using [Divine Vault]. Immediately after that he marked the sharp fang and controlled it to fly to the unexepected wolf's left eye.
SLASH!
Bullseye! Right on the eye!
''ROOOARRR''! A painful cry came out of the wolf's mouth.
After that attack, he closed the distance between them and took another sharp fang, but longer, instead of marking it, he held it with both of his hands. He raised the sharp fang downards at the half-blinded wolf's head.
