Chapter 4: Birthday boy
Soon the first of September came and it was time for Jungkook to celebrate his 24 birthday, he was also celebrating the 2 month anniversary of Yoongi completely ignoring him. He wasn't putting in that much effort to make up either though, neither did he blame Yoongi for wanting nothing to do with him, in fact, Jungkook wanted nothing to do with himself. He felt like dying everytime anyone even mentioned Yoongi, not from shame or embarrassment, but from longing to hold Yoongi closely in his arms. But he couldn't because he believed that Yoongi hated him because of the kiss, and no matter how many times his friends told him he didn't, Jungkook still wouldn't believe it. On Yoongi's side, he was ignoring Jungkook because he thought that Jungkook only wanted his body, and Yoongi was done being Jungkook's little slut. However, he didn't want to stop being friends with Jungkook. Yoongi only started ignoring Jungkook when Jungkook was ignoring him, he didn't know why Jungkook was ignoring him either, neither did he ask. Moral of the story, both Yoongi and Jungkook had completely different reasons for ignoring each other, and both believed that the other was the one that stopped talking to him first.
Jungkook was having his birthday party at his house, he only invited a few of his friends so it was more of a sleep over then a party. He asked Jimin to ask Yoongi to go but he didn't think Yoongi would show up. "He's not coming" Jungkook said when Hoseok, Namjoon, Jin and Taehyung arrived but Jimin and Yoongi were no where to be seen, he then lowered his head to try and hide the tears forming in his eyes. "Don't be so pessimistic!" Taehyung said not noticing any of his tears. After 20 minutes had passed Jungkook grew more emotional, he really wanted to see his favourite hyung on his birthday but he felt like he'd never see Yoongi again. He was sitting on the couch with Hoseok and Jin right next to him. They were just talking and catching up but Jungkook was rather quiet, they all noticed but knew what it was about and could only hope Jimin would pop up with Yoongi and was only late. Lowering his head again, Jungkook closed his eyes allowing the tears to fall from his beautiful doe eyes, luckily, as if on queue, just as the tears started flowing from his eyes there was a knock on the door. Jungkook's head instantly shot up with the happiest bunny smile on his face, he flew off of the couch in less then 0.1 seconds and ran to open the door after making sure no tears were visible. "Kookie!" Jimin's sweet voice filled Jungkook's ears as Jimin attacked him with hugs. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO!!!" Jimin yelled loudly but Jungkook was focused on the beautiful red head he hadn't seen in weeks "H-happy.... b-birthday" Yoongi stuttered clearly avoiding eye contact with Jungkook, Yoongi was happy to see Jungkook but at the same time he wanted to throw himself off a building so nervous he was, Jungkook was just happy to see his favourite hyung. "Thank you" Jungkook smiled brightly at Yoongi, ignoring the hug Jimin had trapped him in. "What about me?! I'm here too you know?!!" Jimin said dramatically releasing Jungkook from his tight grip. "Oh- uh, thank you Jimin hyung" Jungkook bowed and moved over so they could come in, never removing his happy eyes off of Yoongi who was still avoiding eye contact.
Jungkook didn't feel any type of lust for Yoongi like he usually did, he was genuinely just happy to see his favourite hyung.
Everyone sat down in the living room and continued talking while Jungkook kept glancing at Yoongi with his happy bunny smile. Yoongi didn't notice at first, he was too busy focusing on Hoseok and Taehyung, he had a sneaking suspension that they liked each other and Hoseok signalling for Taehyung to get on his lap kinda' gave off daddy vibes to Yoongi. When Taehyung sat down on Hoseok's lap with his cheeks turning red Jimin and Jungkook immediately smirked at each other, Jungkook had told Jimin and only Jimin about what Taehyung said when Jungkook broke down the night of the kiss.

"I know I'd be happy if Hobi hyung kissed me" Jungkook repeated to Jimin "You're sure?"Jimin asked his eyes widened, Jungkook and Jimin were sitting at a cafe two days after the kiss, Jimin invited Jungkook there to apologize for how he acted. Jungkook was to out of it to realize what Taehyung had said to him at the time he said it, but now that he gained his senses he couldn't wait to tell his best friend all about Taehyung's crush on Hoseok. "Yes I'm sure! I wouldn't tell you if I wasn't!" Jungkook said almost whispering to Jimin but still speaking with enthusiasm. "Heol!" Jimin said excitedly, he never would have guessed it on his own, Taehyung doesn't treat Hoseok much different then other friends so it was a rather big shock for him. "I know right?! Should we set em up?" Jungkook asked sipping from his banana milk, Jimin then gave Jungkook an uninterested face and Jungkook understood immediately. "Yeah?" Jungkook smiled with naughtiness, "Yeah!" Jimin returned the smile giving Jungkook a high-five. "How though?" Jimin sat back in his seat, mind empty. "Plan a hang out then ditch?" Jungkook offered. "Wouldn't that be a little to mean?" Jimin asked worried if Taehyung and Hoseok might be hurt by their actions, "I can't think of anything else though" Jungkook looked at Jimin hopelessly "Let's ditch em then!" Jimin started laughing and so did Jungkook. They knew Hoseok comfort Taehyung if it did make him sad so they weren't to worried about that.

Back at Jungkook's birthday party, Hoseok was sitting in front of the couch with Taehyung sitting on his lap, the others sitting on the floor all cuddled up in comfortable blankets and pillows with only Jungkook and Jimin still on one of the couches. They were watching 'Twenty Five Twenty one' while snacking on popcorn and paying close attention to the TV, well, everyone except Jungkook, Yoongi, Taehyung and Hoseok. Taehyung was focusing on Hoseok's erect cock push against his curvy ass cheeks, also pushing his own down to try and hide it from the others. Hoseok was focused on, well, his dick. And both Yoongi and Jungkook were focused on each other, Jungkook constantly gazed over at Yoongi, Yoongi doing the same.
"I'll go make some more popcorn" Jungkook said when he noticed they were running low then went to the kitchen after taking the empty popcorn bowls from Taehyung and Jin. Once he had the the popcorn popping on the stove, Yoongi appeared in the kitchen as well. "Ha-happy b-birthday" Yoongi stuttered while handing Jungkook a blue bag with a white and black rabbit as the design. "Thanks. I really like red hair on you, it suits you well" Jungkook's eyes glowed with pure happiness looking at Yoongi, he took the bag then pulled out an Iron Man figure, then a Thanos one. "D-do you s-still r-remem-remember?" Yoongi continued to stutter, barely able to make a full sentence. "I do" Jungkook smiled warmly looking at the toys. An Iron Man figure was the first birthday gift Yoongi had ever given Jungkook, and the Thanos figure was the first Christmas gift Yoongi gave him. "Happy birthday baby bunny" Jungkook said raising the Iron Man figure in his right hand "And, Marry Christmas beautiful boy" Jungkook said this time raising the Thanos figure with his left hand, Yoongi just nodding his head yes, those were the words Yoongi had said to him when he gave him the toys. "Thank you hyung" Jungkook put the toys along with the bag on the counter then stepped closer to hug him but Yoongi backed away putting his hands on Jungkook's chest to push him away as well.
Before Yoongi could remove his hands Jungkook grabbed them and kept them on his chest. "Please.... please don't do this," Jungkook pleaded holding Yoongi's hands tightly on his toned chest. "I-I-I promise, I will never let my feelings for you control my actions ever again" Jungkook continued to beg for Yoongi's forgiveness while Yoongi froze in place. "Y-you.... what?" Yoongi managed to look up at Jungkook, still not able to move the rest of his body. "Please.... I'm begging you..... don't let my mistakes ruin this precious bond we have..." tiny tear drops became visible in Jungkook's eyes as well as Yoongi's.
"No...." Yoongi said thinking Jungkook meant they should continue their ''fun time'' together, but Yoongi promised himself he'd never let Jungkook treat him like a sex doll ever again.
Yoongi regained control of his body and pulled his hands away. "I've had enough of this" Yoongi pushed Jungkook away slowly and gently then turned around, his body didn't have enough strength to do more. "Hmm-mmm" Jungkook whimpered squeezing his eyes closed while bitting his bottom lip to try and stop sobs along woth countless of tears from flowing but it was no use. Yoongi managed to keep the tears in but Jungkook couldn't, he wasn't strong enough. "Ok...." Jungkook said softly noticing blood drip down his chin, Jungkook had bitten his lip so hard that it started bleeding. Yoongi turned around and froze in place, he didn't realize where the blood came from and was scared to death as he watched Jungkook try to wipe it away along with the tears that had fallen. "K-Kookie?" Yoongi asked right before collapsing onto the floor completely unconscious. "Yoongi hyung?!!" Jungkook screamed using his hands to prevent Yoongi from hitting his head on the counter "YOONGI?!!" he continued screaming shaking Yoongi's unconscious body in attempt to wake him. "HYUNG'S HELP!!! HELP PLEASE! PLEASE!!!" Jungkook screamed hysterically, body shaking and heartbeat beating a little too fast. "WHAT THE HELL?!!" Namjoon yelled seeing Yoongi unconscious and Jungkook crying while shaking Yoongi's body violently. "H-hyung.... please...." Jungkook nearly stopped breathing and struggled to speak still holding onto Yoongi's dead looking body. Jin came running in next, Jimin and Taehyung following and then Hoseok last. "What happened?! And why are you bleeding?!!" Jin asked loudly but not quite yelling. "I-I don't know! One minute he was fine and the next...he was.... he just.... " Jungkook said trying to gasp for air as Jin pulled him away from Yoongi, covering Jungkook's face with his chest and arms so he couldn't see Yoongi's body. "What's happening?" Taehyung started crying immediately, Hoseok tried to get Taehyung out of the kitchen but Taehyung kept trying to run towards Yoongi. "Get out! Get out now!" Namjoon yelled scaring the shit out of Taehyung, causing him to stop struggling and Hoseok was able to force him out of the kitchen. "Jimin help me" Namjoon demanded but Jimin was already on the floor checking if Yoongi was breathing. "He's not breathing" Jimin said looking at Namjoon, not knowing what to do. At this point Jungkook was losing consciousness as well. When Jin noticed he pulled Jungkook off the floor still covering his face and headed for the living room, but before he could reach the door, Jungkook fainted into Jin's arms. "Oh for fucks sake!" Jin yelled then started dragging Jungkook's body to the living room, once Taehyung saw Jungkook he started screaming from fear. "Calm down Little Prince" Hoseok squeezed Taehyung in his arms and forced him to sit down on the couch trying to calm him but Taehyung just continued crying as well as hitting and kicking Hoseok as his fight or flight instinct kicked in. Even though he was hurting Hoseok, Hoseok stayed in place and kept on hugging Taehyung.
"Turn him on his back" Namjoon said helping Jimin, luckily, Jimin knew that part and undid Yoongi's shirt buttons then moved on to lift his legs. "Good job babe" Namjoon praised Jimin then started to give Yoongi CPR.
Soon after, Yoongi regained consciousness, barely but he was awake. "What's going on?" Yoongi asked and tried to get up to go to Taehyung screaming in the living room. "Don't get up yet" Namjoon laid Yoongi back on his back. "What the fuck? Why is Tae screaming?" Yoongi tried to kick Jimin away gently, who was still holding his feet in the air, but he couldn't do much without hurting his brother. ''You fainted, we don't know why but we do know that Tae is having a panic attack while Kookie already passed out from his.... panic attack I mean" Namjoon tried to explain while getting Yoongi water. "Yoongi woke up! He's ok and you can calm yourselves" Jimin shouted at the others "Kookies breathing but not waking up!" Jin yelled back from the living room.
"Turn him on his back and put his legs on the coffee table, loosen all tight clothing and do not slap, shake or pour water on him. I'll be there soon"
Namjoon replied and Jin obeyed. Namjoon lifted Yoongi's head slightly to give him some water then carefully and gently helped him sit up but made him sit against the counter. "Babe get me some ice please" Namjoon asked then Jimin took one of Jungkook's dish drying cloths and got ice from the fridge. "Here"Jimin handed it to Namjoon then he gently started tapping it across Yoongi's forehead, neck and the back of his neck while checking for injuries. "You don't have a head injury..... I need to check on Kookie, but just sit here for a few minutes and I'll be back soon" Namjoon said signalling Jimin to stay with Yoongi. "Tae needs me" Yoongi tried to get up but Jimin didn't let him "Tae needs you to get better" Jimin said pushing strands of red hair behind Yoongi's ear. "Tae needs me" Yoongi repeated again trying to get up but Jimin kept him on the floor again.
In the living room, Taehyung was slowly losing energy and slowly stopped fighting Hoseok still holding him, Hoseok had a bloody nose and bruises all over his body from Taehyung continuously hitting and kicking him aggressively. Taehyung didn't realize what he was doing though, all he could think about was Jungkook and Yoongi. "Shhh Baby Bear, everything is alright" Hoseok whispered and Taehyung finally stopped fighting completely, just gaining his breath from all the screaming and crying.
"Kookie?" Namjoon asked when he saw Jungkook's eyes slowly opening. "Yoongi hyung?...." Jungkook said trying to look around him to find Yoongi. "He's fine and in the kitchen right now" Namjoon said giving Jungkook a smile. "That's good" Jungkook replied with a weak voice, and once again, a whole bunch of tears falling from his eyes just remembering what Yoongi had said.
"No....." that one word will never leave Jungkook's mind and will torment him for the rest of his life.
Let's just say this wasn't the best birthday Jungkook has had so far ...
